I just think crashing should be discouraged in some fashion, because I'm 90% sure the bomber pilots that crash 3 minutes into the match do it on purpose to 1) go to the next game quickly and 2) deny people the kill Because some players do try to run back to the airfield but as soon as they realise you're catching them they nosedive faster than their mother can make a business deal for her "online business"

Correct. Wyvern is going to be 4.0 or even lower bc of typical wyvern players and the fact that it is pay-to-win plane. Both Wyvern and XP-50 shouldn’t be at 4.0.

If you put it at 6.0, it could match the speed of turboprops and early jets sometimes, but then it would get clobbered by literally everything due to poor performance in every other flight characteristic. Don't be overzealous, over-tiering is enough of a problem as it is.

I disagree. The only special thing this has is the top speed. It can absolutely be 4.3 though since it's still a good interceptor and can catch enemies off guard. But the moment you have to turn, this thing bleeds a lot so it won't be difficult to kill. For you anything can be 2.0 BRs above and still do everything well, because you are a veteran. You have to take into mind that the game should be balanced fairly between good players and average ones.

@@feenix1 I've seen the vids - they really need some better way to allow BMPS to fight their historical counterparts - maybe multiple spawns but fighting at a much higher tier ? How many BMP-1's do you need to take out an M-1A2 ?

Say i (in a p51) and a friendly p47 are being chased by a wyvern and a spitfire. Who has the advantage? In combination with it’s team it completely nullifies any fair matchup at 4.0

@@8-bithades305 Well, a better question might be, why are you starting off being chased? Also, yeah, two different planes which have very complimentary flight performance to play off each other are going to be extremely effective against something that doesn't deal with either very well. Sadly, US planes which require altitude to perform well get absolutely shafted in most battles. That's not the fault of just the Wyvern or Spitfire.

@@8-bithades305 my expirience is that usually who gets matchet with britain at this br wins the game. spitfires just outturn everyone and wyverns just run the whole game cuz nothing can catch them up and if u try to go for spitfire thats alone wyvern will wait until ur stalled out and gun u down.

It's great as an attacker, but it can only get one base at the best of times, and not in an up-tier. It's my daily task grinder, and it's very effective as such.

The funniest is how they once upped its BR to 5.3 and players cried about it so much, they reverted it.

It's not Pay to win People just use everything as a dogfighter and complain they get killed and perform poorly so gaijin gives lower BR For example Yak-38 is very overpowered... They removed the premium one because didn't sell well coz people complain it can't turn it's a brick :(( Bruh it has R-60's while going almost supersonic at 9.3 Now with custom loadouts it gets 4x R-60's at 9.3... In a downtier it can fight Me 262's Lmao

Ikr, its just sad. I never head on 335s because the majority of them use their pickle brain power to turn around and turn fight me in a desperate attempt to force a head on. You can guess how that ends up (not good for them). The only plane i use to head on 335s is the F7F, that things armament is good enough to snipe them from 3km away lmao, works every time

Grinded out the Arado just so see, it goes 612 with bombs, but goes 713 without them at 200m If you climb 1000m, you'll get an extra 10km/h Though energy retention makes it an entirely different beast... If only it actually had a single gun. Wyvern at 100m is 623km/h but the 650 is already known without bombload. It actually goes faster if you climb, 660 at 1000m, or I have noted down 664 at 4km. Though poor energy retention, as pure bombers you can kinda defensive fly with an Arado, which is typically a death sentence with the Wyvern unless you go on the attack.

People say say it's balanced because it only has good speed, but then you compare it to other attackers in the bracket and it just dwarfs them

XP-50 is just a lot more flexible. You can outclimb literally everyone with your airspawn and then just control the entire rest of the match singlehandedly in that thing, where as the Wyvern has to rely on constantly running away on the deck in order to reset after each engagement. Wyvern would be absolutely playable at 5.0, you just wouldn't be able to thoughtlessly run from everything.

@@XSpamDragonX You do realize that the Wyvern is an attacker, not a fighter right? Why are you concerned about making sure that it is still competitive as a fighter when it shouldn't be? Put it 5.3 minimum with it's Skyraider and Mauler counterparts rather than keeping it at a low BR so it can be flown predominantly as a fighter. As a fighter the Wyvern is very straightforward. Fly it with tactics that a jet would against props. With those tactics it is vastly superior to the XP-50 because not only can the Wyvern never be caught but with its very good climb rate sub 3km relative to all single engined fighters that it can see it can fairly easily turn it's fairly big against most everything it sees low alt speed advantage into a very usable energy advantage.

@@rainsilent It was a fighter in game on release, and I like to play it like one; I just want tougher opponents. Every other attacker at either BR we are suggesting relies on low stall speed and strong elevator to try and fight back, the Wyvern would still be a boom and zoom attacker like the 335 but with the crucial advantage of top speed at sea level. Either it stays an attacker with airspawn and goes to 6.0 towards the A2D because otherwise DEFYN, myself, and others will continue to shallow climb and humiliate stall climbers, or you just make it a fighter that has to take off and slap it BACK AT 4.7 OR EVEN 5.0 WHERE IT WAS TOTALLY BALANCED UNTIL GAIJIN NOTICED ALL THE MONKEYS YOLO BOMBING WITH ZERO KILLS FIRST STRIKE AND CAUSED THIS WHOLE MESS

@@XSpamDragonX It wasn't a fighter on release. It was an attacker. It was touted as being comparable to the Skyraider on it's dev blog. It was flown as a fighter by a number of players because it's high top speed at low alt was good enough to allow it to run away from a number of fighters, even at 5.0, thereby dictating fights. I don't think it needs to go to 6.0 as an attacker. I think 5.3 is likely to be entirely sufficient. 5.7 entirely will be. It is tactically comparable to the AD-2 Skyraider. It just trades some payload for speed. As for those using it as a fighter? I know. I would be too, even if it was at 6.0. Thing is what you are saying it would still be capable of at 7.0 too as there are still plenty of stall climbers up at that BR. So you aren't exactly giving sound logic as to why you think the BRs should be what you think they should be. I don't think it was balanced at 5.0, even as an attacker. Compared to other attackers 4.0-5.0 it was flat out superior. The Mosquito and Brigand, when introduced, were close in BR to the Wyvern and the Wyvern carried a larger payload while being a lot faster. Granted those two were over BRed at the time. Still, it is comparable to the AD-2, which sits at 5.7. 5.0 for something that is comparable to something that is fine at 5.7 isn't balanced.

I wouldn't say it's completely cracked. Should be 4.3 but it's got 2 good things: speed and guns. It loses 80% of its speed when making the slightest turn and will turn well only once, then it's too slow to do anything else

@@kingghidorah8106 the reason they do that is because they often cannot do anything else. If you are in a, say, bf109 and a wyvern is coming to you, you can beat him easily since you can bleed his energy. That's why they always run away

@@p_filippouz or you can abuse that stupid climb rate to take down these 109s climbing at 205 first while you're going at 500 and then worry about ground pounding. That's literally what Defyn is doing here, you just have a juicy evidence on how fast planes with good climb rate and air spawn can be abused and you're refusing to look at it.

I love how rockets went from free kill if you land them within a few feet to regularly failing to penetrate tanks.
