i started warthunder on tanks with my buddy and watched alot of oddbawz, and when defyn came in on a collab i checked his channel and have just been here since and have been converted to air rb as my go to
I think I speak for all of us when I say that the only reason I'm half decent in air battles is because of DEFYN. Not just through how he breaks down his thought process, but also the wide variety of aircraft he's covered. It's definitely boosted my understanding of what my enemies are capable of as well.
You've been a massive help to many Defyn, including me. No other youtuber has managed to explain how to play all these aircraft as well as you have. I always put on your videos as soon as I see them, and I will do so continuing forward.
Major facts. There are certain things I remember from the show "Dogfights" on history Channel, but Defyn has shown some serious skills and knowledge to where you might think that he is an actual pilot lol.

I went from AB to ground SB because i wanted something more challenging, while RB was just insanely difficult with everyone's skill level around me. Thanks to your videos i learned a lot, and now actually enjoy RB, and even reached the first jet!

The VB-10 is an incredibly large plane like it was difficult to believe its sheer size and the 2 engines, I wonder what the designers were thinking when they designed it
I believe one of the most important things for learning to fly aircraft is learning the enemys strengths and weaknesses. It takes a bit of time and practice, but once you actually know how to fight others, it becomes much more enjoyable and easier to win dogfights. Good vid, as always!

I've always had a blast watching your videos, but I'd love to see even more of your plane gameplay in Ground RB. I think that the combo of no enemy markers and the risk of competent SPAA adds a ton of fun to duels and fights.
I've learned a lot with your content, before i was terrified of playing RB and stuck to AB sealclubbing with the Israeli 109. After learning the basics of RB dogfighting i got comfortable enough to go and try it myself and i gotta say, its a lot more fun, keep doing what you do because you're a great help for the new comers.

I am just a middling player, that's why I watch you for air and OddBawz for ground.. And when I'm disgusted with war thunder I'll switch to DCS which I suck at also but I'm better there then @ war thunder.. LOL 👍👍👍
You have really helped me become a better pilot through your tutorials and gameplay. I went from only being able to fly certain aircraft to understanding many, especially early jets. Stuff that seems obvious now is no longer that way. I am consistently getting a few kills that felt earned rather than just getting lucky. Your decal finally applies to me

Without DEFYN I would have never stuck with war thunder as long as I have. Air battles seemed impossible to master, which only seemed more evident as I traveled up the ranks. It is because of DEFYN that I was able to not only learn the ropes, but consistently compete for top spot in many of my matches. Thanks to him for all the content and experience he has shared with us and all the content yet to come.

Beautiful, I love the VB.10 both for gameplay and from a design perspective but god there's so much wasted potential with the platform! Also used to be pretty bad in air but you inspired me to play RB more and get better and since then I've improved quite a lot, though I will never touch top tier cause it just looks atrocious balance wise
You're one of, the best(and last) Warthunder air content creators out there Defyn, you're videos have helped me and many others "git gud" at air combat in the best ways possible. You give honest reviews and coverage of the vehicles you play and how to use them effectively to their strengths rather than focusing on their weaknesses too much. And on a side note your video covering the recent air br changes was great, I'm glad someone is still saying something about Gaijins terrible treatment of Air, too many treat it as an "oh well, atleast the few vehicles I like are fun for a few months", while the rest get thrashed.

Haven't played since New Power dropped. The first VB-10 (the green one) was the last French plane I unlocked and I fondly remember how it handled like a submarine sandwich. Glad you finally gave it a try!
I use planes strictly in ground RB. I would usually not bring out a plane if the enemy had any up as I SUCKED in dogfighting. I started following DEFYN a few months ago. I can proudly say I have had a couple of games recently with 5-6 aircraft kills and now can perform anti CAS. Knowing how to fly each plane is immensely helpful.
Its a fucking joke how much damage any 20mm does compared to the mineshells which usually have 3-5 times the amount of HE filler. Theyre literally the worst 20mm in game. Anyways, will you do the arado 234 c3 anytime soon? Its pretty ok as a fighter. Solves most of the problems of german early jets. It has guns that actually arent subsonic, good acceleration and climb and its energy retention is bonkers. Slowing down to land that thing is extremely hard since you have no airbrake too! Stallfighting with it is pretty fun. Or the me 262 c1. Extremely potent due to the rocket booster and only .3 above the regular 262!
Finally after 570 hours, F16AJ reached, no money spent. It feels like heaven flying such a good jet and I couldnt have made it without the guidance of Defyn, thank you.
