Wanted to have this up around an hour and a half ago, but RU-vid Studio decided to take an age... But gonna have a peerie video tomorrow with my thoughts on the Monaco lap 1 carnage

I was watching the Monaco Grand Prix live, and ngl, despite being a Mercedes and McLaren fan, I was smiling ear to ear on the final lap, and especially when Charles Leclerc crossed the finish line in P1, and winning his home race. I'm also excited by the fact he's only 31 points behind Verstappen in the standings, closer than any of us fans would've expected in 2024! Oh and I also had an idea of a season without certain teams or drivers on the grid video to do in the future, 2009 without Brawn GP & Red Bull.

Yeah as I said, go back to the start of the year and we all thought it'd be another Verstappen domination year... well he's definitely gonna remain quick and the guy to beat, but Charles ain't too far off, and Norris could easy get involved with the way McLaren are going. 2009 without Brawn & Red Bull could be good, gonna definitely be taking a look at 2009 sometime!

As a Verstappen fan it was like Norris in Miami all over again.

Just because of one win doesn’t mean that Leclerc is all of a sudden a player, if anything the championship is going to end up being between Verstappen and either Norris and/or Piastri by the end of the season. Mercedes is still far behind with their car set-ups and overall pace so they’re a no go. However I’m thinking that people shouldn’t be counting Red Bull out just yet since they haven’t had any major upgrades as of yet so that could change things when they do. The biggest takeaway though is that you can’t base any opinions on Monaco since it was not a race but instead just a procession.

Hence why I'm a bit on the fence to say "yes we definitely have a title fight in the drivers championship", because yes I do agree one win doesn't mean he's in it for sure, but 31 points is catchable, as is the 56 point gap Norris has to Max. I definitely expect McLaren to be involved in the championship and I definitely expect Norris to be closing up on Verstappen and Leclerc, but regardless on what happens in terms of the WDC and WCC, off the evidence of the last 3 races we could be in for a good rest of the season

just realised with your strong accent you ironically have the closest suggested word so far for verstappen on the subtitles(i sometimes watch videos with CC selected for comedy word suggestions) max ver sippin 😅 normally it has no idea what to write, vapin or something random, SS usually for carlos sainz. 🌹

Auto generated captions on F1 videos can be brilliant sometimes. I saw one where the auto captions called Giovanazzi "Antonio Java not see" and another where it wrote "Antonio German taxi". Also saw one call Leclerc "solar clerk" and another "shall declare"😂

Charles, knew he had what it takes to beat Max, while Max knew that Charles knew that he could beat him, then Charles knew that Max knew that Charles knew that he could beat him. Game on. (It’s a tongue twister I know)

Verstappen is't not more Bulletproof but this will be better for F1. And I am Verstappen fan. Next year will be more interesting.

2025 is definitely gonna be an interesting season!

I am not sure 2025 will be interesting anymore. From 2022 new régulations, every years, McLaren climb of one step team categories around Miami, and they arn't falling in winter (without counting 21-22 winter) the next step actually for McLaren seems to be domination, except next races show Red Bull have Always a little gap, but it isn't likely. Ferrari only done it this year in Imola, RedBull only in middle 2022, Mercedes and Aston only on final part of 2022, others doesn't did it. So It is very probable McLaren climb one step, but not much probable the only other team of the grid to do it is RedBull or Ferrari. So I fear a McLaren domination from Miami 2025 to end of 2025
