The leadership of Hamas have REPEATEDLY stated (and their revised charter states this from 2017), that they would be willing to accept a 2 state solution based on the 1967 borders if the Palestinian people are happy with the choice. I really like Husam but he should defend the Palestinian right to armed struggle more and recognise Hamas's true position. They are not just a "group or militia". They won elections for goodness sake in 2006 because of their well known social programme and because people were fed up of Fatahs corruption!

I think it’s the opposite. If they don’t include or welcome Khamas’ participation, it’ll bring down the whole thing & ruin the chances of creating a proper govt for the new state of Palestine. When Marwan says that Khamas is part of the Palestinian society in Gaza, he means that they are supported by at least a good portion of the population. So you can’t completely disenfranchise those people and expect it to be democratic. That’s not how you create a democracy.
