Tony Redgrave I hope it has better control schemes then the original game one of the main reasons I can't enjoy halo 3 that much, there is no option for x too be reload(I would be better at it if it didn't have bizarre controls, and I wasn't keen on its multiplayer halo 2 did that better, especially movement and no randomness of the br spread I'm fine with projectile bullets but I want them too be less random.

I would have enjoyed halo 3 multiplayer if it was just a tad bit faster and I dislike all of the control schemes but I do think ce and 2 have amazing multiplayer and the equipment in 3 was a good idea but not executed properly because some are extremely useful and others are completely useless

I think that's a really good point. That's really one of the reasons I would like to see it tbh, because Halo 3 a game in the franchise that I actually like. If they make a Halo 6 that sucks, and then make Halo 3 anniversary amazing it only enforces the opinion that they can't actually make a good Halo game themselves. I've pretty much lost all interest in the series after 343 took over, and if Halo 6 continues on the same path as Halo 5 I honestly doubt I'll even buy it. Hell I haven't even finished Halo 5's campaign... It's just too dark and convoluted for me at this point. But I'm happy to be proven wrong.

i am 6 I got Halo 3 right when it came out. Right after I finished the campaign I went and purchased the first two. After that, Halo became my favorite franchise. Not the biggest fan of 4 or 5, but I don't hate them.

ODST was more like an expansion than a full game however. It used the Halo 3 engine, so almost half of the work was done for it already.

There's a very *very* distinct difference between the two though. When Bungie released ODST sure people were a bit annoyed but this was bungie, they had never failed to deliver at that time. So it didn't really matter and also it came with the Reach Beta and also the Halo 3 Mythic collection which people were pretty happy with so overall it went down decently. Now in 343's shoes, this is very *VERY* different. They've lost the trust of the fans so if Halo 3 Anniversary doesn't go down well the fans who were barely hanging on the fence on wether they should stick with the franchise will drop it completely if they feel it was a let down like the masterchief collection which will then pretty much leave people to think that 343 are *STILL* incompetent in making a decent Halo title which will then negatively impact Halo 6 pretty drastically I'd imagine. So no, I don't think they should even consider remaking Halo 3 until perfecting Halo 6 and regaining the trust from the fans. So focus on making 6, make it good, then make Halo 3 Anniversary and also make sure it's good and that will regain the trust from the Halo community and also make it rejuvenated.

Agreed. But personally if they would remaster Reach and ODST and release them in a bundle with Halo 3, I'd more likely give them $60. Idk about other people but a $60 remastered Halo 3 alone just isn't enough bang for my buck.

Rollie Temprana halo 4 wasnt that bad but it didnt meet my expectations for a halo game, thing is when i got halo 4 i knew it was all down hill from there and i was right. Halo 5 is just really bad, the multiplayer is ok but its not halo; its got ADS and that hurts me. The campaign is whats fhe problem because its so god damn boring and the characters literally dont have any development that i wouldnt care if they die. And it doesnt feel halo yet again, the elites dont even feel like elites anymore, theyre all more clunky and more like a tank than an stealthy assassin type and everytime they get punched in a cutscene its like they become drunk and fall back like 3 feet swailing their arms around. Its sad.

This is on top of Halo 4 being a game that so drastically transitioned away from the style of Bungie's Halos, which upsetted ppl. Then Halo 5 comes and kills the community being the lowest selling main Halo game. Why wud someone give 343 a 4th chance if Halo 6 is another failure? The success of Halo's community and by extension its future is riding on this one game. It's definitely a tall order

m4fh I wouldn't say that the current story is terrible. It's approaching the climax of the halo time line loop. Part 1 the races of the universe are created and advance to an incredible point. Part 2 the species takes up the mantel of responsibility an then they attempt to hold the galaxy in a permanent peace. Part 3 the flood return to the galaxy as the precursors last trial for the species that wishes to hold the mantel. Now here's the part that can end in two ways. Part 4A the flood defeat the civilization and they are forced to fire the working halo array and the ark then proceeds to reseed the galaxy (This is exactly what happened with the forunners) . Or part 4B the species defeats the flood, holds the mantel, and keeps the galaxy in peace. Now Cortana is going to attempt through force which will cause human, elites, etc to team up and I fight against her which would technically mean that all the races are united causing the galaxy to be at peace. This would mean that he race that unified the others would then most likely attain the mantel and then step 3 of the loop would start with flood from other galaxies showing up. There's always the chance that part 4A could happen and that would reset the universe and cause the story to restart.
