My husband and I would always say that we’re not doing household tasks to “help me” but because we all live here so it’s for all of us and it just has to be done.
It's refreshing to see a couple who are in synch and have aligned priorities. You are setting a wonderful example for your children in what a healthy, functional and loving family looks like(flaws and all). I've enjoyed this and your family channel since Hailey was born. I'm a wife and homeschool Mom of 5 little ones living on a small farm, so I just feel like I can relate to you a lot. Anyway, I'm so happy to see your channel and family going strong. I’ve barely started watching but already laughing because my husband is the “explainer” of why of EVERYTHING and I’m the one who is like “Dude! You could’ve said than in 1 minute instead of 10”!😂 But I’ve never thought of you rambling on here. I do enjoy hearing some thought process on some things. I just wanted you to know that for what it’s worth, I think you do a great job!☺️
I am all for constructive criticism! And have made a few changes to the way I share things here. But I will always be true to myself, and who I am, and embrace my own personality, which is a bit chatty! (Which is one of the things Weston loves about me!)
I loveeee how you explained "helping each other" and your husband says, it's not that it's fair, just do what is needed, "we are not helping each other we are doing it for the family" so much wisdom. Will definitely use that moving forward 🙏

Love your answer to household chores! Same here. When I had a paying job, my husband did more around the house. I would come home to a cooked meal. He did laundry and other housework. Now that I don't have a paying job, of course I do more household work. It's not about dividing and fair. It's about being adults and doing what needs to be done. Marriage is a partnership.
Oh Natalie ... I find the whole point of your videos (or at least the underlying) .. is that we're girlfriends chatting over a cup of something! I enjoy that you make long ones .. I grab my cup of something to have with you! In fact, sometimes I try to save your videos until evening wind down but I look forward to them SO MUCH that I sometimes put off tasks to sit down and take a break! Really fun video. My husband and our sons read the LOTR books together before having them watch the movies. That started a lifelong love of all things Tolkien for them😀
I feel you about health issues making one choose not to have more children. I would get kidney infections with each pregnancy- pretty much from the second trimester to delivery; in my 3rd and last pregnancy and prior to my third c-section, my OB sat my husband and I down and discussed my kidney health and asked if we want more children- not because of 3 children in 4 years, but because of my kidney health (ongoing kidney infections since I was 16) and the toll it was taking on my body. He looked at us and stated “a healthy mother of 3 or an unhealthy mother of 4 or more on dialysis sooner than later”- we chose a healthy mother of 3, though our goal was 6 children. Being a healthy parent is the best thing one can do for our children, our spouse and ourselves.
This was such a fun video to watch. I’m only 21 and I’ve probably been watching your videos since I was around 14, probably watching your pregnancy videos on your previous channel in excitement for the arrival of one of my nephews or niece. You’re kind of like a big sister to me, and I think these videos really make that feeling feel kind of true, if that makes sense. I love them because they’re so comforting, like learning from a sister. I’m rambling, but your videos truly make me happy. Your love for Weston, as well as Weston’s love for you is what I aspire to have in my relationship with my current partner 😊

I've started on decluttering my atticroom. It is for some reason the most deficult area for me to declutter, so I do it in stages. I would absolutely love to see you do a messy to minimal episode in your garage. Also I just love when you do videos together. It's always so much fun to watch.

LOL. Love your chemistry in this video. Westin is so funny. My husband is the over explainer in our relationship and I am very direct get to the point type. Opposites attract for sure. I also had a similar toilet paper issue and I thought it was my kids. Living in a 5 person home as the only woman- keeping our single bathroom clean and tidy is always a hot button, but not so much anymore. My bidet is just a cheap basic sprayer style I just wanted to see if it would work for our family. But when this one is ready for replacement I’ll probably do a warm water hookup type maybe built into the toilet seat because I love it so much I’m ready to commit to higher quality.
After my fourth. We are done. I prolapsed. It’s not undoable. Plus APS and a host of other autoimmune issues. I can’t imagine having a baby now. I’m physically struggling with my kids. Which is humbling. This is part of why we are part of the family of God. There will always be babies.
LOL, about the over explaining, my husband does the same and i always say "i don't want the PBS special, go to the point", so he reluctantly say ok, just hold this part so i can tight it correctly. THANK YOU don't need to know the story of rope and knots to do this
