I hope God delights in me. I know I'm not perfect and I'm a sinner but I hope His grace is greater than that... And I want to not just hope for it to be greater. But I want to know that His grace, compassion and mercy are greater.
Going through major anxiety and just an incredibly unhealthy state of mind this summer. This video gives me hope that God is watching me struggle right now only knowing that when I get out of this mindset, I will not only know Him more, but that He allowed me to struggle in order to grow. I feel ashamed that I don't have enough faith to know God is in control, I was in church this Sunday and my pastor spoke about the parable in Matthew of the farmer scattering seeds. Some of the seeds were set on foundation that when push comes to shove, was unstable. This anxiety has shown me that I am of those seeds where I don't trust God enough that when anxiety makes me believe I'm going to die, I fear, instead of brushing it aside with the knowledge that even if I die (which I won't from anxiety) I'm going to heaven anyway.... I need give God my all.
bro I've struggled with social anxiety before and it's the worst thing ever. I know exactly how you feel. Medication won't help you as much as God will. I prayed every night and had faith and kept my faith throughout this long stage of mine and sometimes it felt like it was only getting worse but God is good and sooner or later he will see how strong your faith is and how you've been asking him to help you and he will help you. God works in mysterious way and this could be a test. He might want to see if you seek him and keep your faith throughout all of this. He helped me man and I still get anxious once in a while but it is soooooo much better than before. I will pray for you man! I promise!
Will Moran yea dude, it's been a crazy week, it's been a struggle all summer. My family actually had to move into my aunt's house and it's in a much less entertaining town, so I was so trapped in the house that all I could do was think, and go crazy., I let my mind get the best of me, it happened 2 summers ago as well, but with way less outside influence. a lot of my family tried helping me, really pushing meds on me, and (while I'm still struggling right now) and I think because they're pushing me to go take meds I have it in my mind now that without the medicine I can't fully return to normal, which is really only creating another obstacle for me to overcome. It helps to talk to the ones who take medicine, but throughout my journey through this anxiety/depression, I've talked to so many people that I feel incredibly close to getting out of this. My relationship with my brother, which before this summer wasn't great, has gotten better, he helped me I think the most because I told him EVERYTHING that I've been feeling and he can relate and he said I just need to fight, medicine will create a dependency and the only thing I should ever be dependent on is God. Like seriously, right now I feel close to getting out, but I have a paranoia over everything I do, I feel like a distance between my thoughts and body, I feel like when I'm controlling my body, I have to double check myself, it's weird... I think it's all like, I feel normal, but my mind makes me want to think normal isn't normal anymore, it's dumb dude, I know that when I finally have something on my plate (I go back to school in 2 weeks) this will blow over because the thoughts in the back of my mind that are currently paranoid, will change and I'll be back, the thought of being finally back to normal again seems so distant right now, even though only a little over a week ago I escaped for a couple days, but right now, I have grown from this, all I can do now is pray God feels the same (that I've grown enough) and just do my own part, pushing away the bad, letting in the good, even though my subconscious wants the exact opposite. Thanks for letting me pour this out, God bless, and you will be in my prayers tonight because I hope you never have to go through this again, I pray the whole world doesn't have to go through this. But it's up to God, so, his plan is righteous.

You can have sinned all your life and taken Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour and you shall go to Heaven. Or you could have been good all your life and have not taken Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour so you will go to Hell.

I've always gone back to this video with great joy and expectance. Over the past two days or so, I've been stuck in such a pit, and I felt that I fell way too far. But God reminded of this beautiful love of His. Even if you feel like God doesn't love you or is angry at you, don't believe it for a second. He loves you and you're His beloved child. He wants to keep you safe and no matter where you are or what you have done He will always come and get you.
I just failed my driving test like literally about an hour ago, this is the first video I've watched coming on to youtube and this is actually making me feel good about failing. I've struggled with trying to pass my test and knowing that God is rejoicing over my struggles and that he sees how this will make me grow as a person is just....amazing. Thank you for making this! While watching this (and this has happened several other times to me when watching/ learning about the Will of God) I felt peace & joy unlike any other I had ever felt in my life before. This has caused me to realize that no earthly possession, liking, joy, or delight can truly compare to the eternal delight & happiness found in God :)
I can't even tell you how much I was blessed by this! I've struggled with this a lot, but you are right, the key is to fix our eyes on Jesus, see that He is perfect and righteous and then realize the amazing fact that we are one with Him. Thank you for making this video!
I'm going through a very rough time right now and I'm quite amazed that...instead of being angry with God (what does happen to me from time to time) and asking why all this has happen to me, while I don't see the use for such hardship, I can't stop but thanking and praising Him. I feel that I've grown a lot in my relationship with God these past months and I can imagine Him being just as glad about that as I am. I can't really imagine God dancing with joy, but yes, I can see Him rejoicing :) And smiling...a big grin from ear to ear showing off the most perfect sparkling white teeth possible ;)
I love Jeff's videos, they always really encourage me. I am 20 years old and the only Christian in my family and supportive comments about my faith are few and far between but in my heart I know what's true. I get baptised four weeks tomorrow and I could not be more excited. My road to Jesus has been a rocky one and not unlike Jeff's (perhaps that's how I can relate), but I love coming here to see all the positivity in the comments and how Jeff's videos impact positively.

Great message. I'm not a parent, but I can totally see how being a parent would help one to understand the Father heart of God, and how He cheers us on, similar to how a parent cheers on their child and rejoices over each milestone. Keep up the great work, and God bless!

This is very reassuring, I'm finishing up my first set of college finals and am very stressed to a point where I'm not spending as much time with God as I should and feeling like the devil is trying to nudge his way into my relationship with God, but I know He will always love me and I will always love Him...❤️

this came just in time! it's radical because i shared in bible study on wednsday that i had a hard time accepting God's forgiveness.yesterday, i was thinking to myself, i have to really believe what God says and not just know it in my head. because believing makes all the difference. Today I was sad and a random lady came up to me and asked if I needed help or anything and when she was walking away after we talked she said "Remember God loves you". And I was thinking about suicide that day. And she was there that day. I would've probably killed myself if she hadn't said those words. "Remember God loves you"

This is such a great video! I had a bad time and asked God to help me believe this and guess what right to my rescue He was I felt a voice in me that sounded like me telling me and revealing to me His love and I felt so much better. This Jesus! And that doesn't show what God did for me, but who He is to us all no matter who we are. 💞💞💞🙌🙌

It is true that God loves us more than we could ever imagine. A love that we cannot fully comprehend. He also loves us too much to allow us to stay the same, and be controlled by the sin nature. Just like a good parent loves their children too much to help them continue on in ways that would be destructive to their lives. When we truly come to know Jesus, and His great love for us, and believe in Him as the Lord of our lives, He empowers us to be more like Him. We desire to follow Him and His example, not just be a fan of His. Praise God for His love, mercy, grace, and power to transform our lives!

I've said for awhile now that parents have an unfair advantage into God's love for us. I didn't really get it before I had my son. When we had him it made me realize how much I could love someone that has done absolutely nothing for me. I got nothing in return yet I would give everything for him and that's exactly what God did for us

Thanks Jeff. I do struggle believing God's love for me however when you say that God rejoices over me I was awestruck to think that God dances, he skips, clap and sings over me. Yes it seems difficult to believe because why would he do that for me.
