You are welcome 😊 It's so true they can't believe it. A young women literally asked me yesterday if this was really all my hair. All while standing right next to me. You could clearly see that it was my hair. ha, it's our mindset, we have truly been brainwashed.
You are correct I had long hair as little girl but after 12 years of age my mom damaged my hair with relaxers so it never grew past my ears because I also continued with relaxers until 2009 I went natural but still wasn’t seeing any real growth until I loc’d my hair 3 in half years ago my locs are just starting to get past my collarbone I am amazed everyday when I look at my locs I don’t know how far I want them to grow yet
Yes Fatima! It basically boils down to the fact that we were being held to European standards of beauty. As a result our culture was brainwashed to believe our hair wasn't good enough. And lead to believe that our hair couldn't grow. Like i said as well I'm amazed when i see how far my locs have come. I love your videos always interesting and informative. I have had my sisterlocks for 2 years and beginning to see length but as you said not totally believing it will grow to my desired length. Your video has given me encouragement. Keep giving us great contents. Thank you
Lorraine J thank you sweetie! Like I said you got to trust the process. We have been conditioned for a very long time so it's going to take time to relearn things about our hair. Trust me it's going to happen to you as well. And you will be AMAZED! =)
