Outside of the intercity bus companies and the taxi drivers, the customer service tends to be excellent. Hotel staff, street food vendors, barbers, bank tellers, cashiers, real estate agents. Attention to detail
I dont want to have to watch it all but going by the title i can say that you used get more than you pay for in Thailand .I am talking back in 2003 to 2009 .I am talking about the services in Patpong and Nana back in the day .I have heard things are different now ,with the advent of the smart phone and greater opportunities for your average Thai girl .
I learned a little trick for acid reflux. It means you don't have enough vegetables in your stomach. I eat a cucumber and my heart burn goes away. No more anti-acids for me. Try it some time, you might be surprised.
Can of disagree with you on this one, I agree with the respect given at the stores and the service is quick. When i arrive in 7 seven they are supposed to say "Hello welcome to 7/11, but that does not happen only occasionally and when they see a farang they stop themselves. This also goes with my local small lotus store. I talk thai all the time and also wish them "Good morning " etc and very rarely receive a reply back . The worst is when they refuse to tell you how much you owe as they dont speak English.. i look at the till and say the amount in thai .. I always say good bye in thai and very rare do they reply . So its me who talks thai and i vist 8 7/11 stores only 1 store where i know the boss who will exchange words with me ..
Don`t be fooled everyone. Customer service in Thailand can be extremely non existent. And the sad part it, they do not even think there is anything wrong. There is just no training for it. And sometimes there is OVER service. Go into Global House and have several people following you all around. They are just way over staffed there. But I am used to it, and actually expect it now.
@@LeslieLaird owned by japanese now. but it's an american brand. if you start saying whoever owns it (origin country) will make it hard to say what country many brands are from. You usually go with where it was founded and/or operated from. It's really not that hard if you're are just looking to argue on stupid grounds.
Pattaya has the worst rudest customer service in Thailand !!!!!! Coming from USA we are spoiled unlike European customer service which is non existent !!!!!
