Nice to see you like it, Scott. We're not the best, but we're working hard to understand PEV riders.

Like CF, but worry about integrity as repeated abrasion wears the epoxy that gives strength/rigidity to the weave. . Carbon fiber splinters doesn't sound particularly fun either. . Thermoplastic and 3DO is fine for now.

I'm a sucker for CF so when I saw these pads in your previous vid I checked them out. As far as firsts go, you're the first on YT to feature these! Thanks for the vid. Went ahead and ordered a pair of Knee/Shin guards anyway so they should be here just after Easter! Can't wait. Keep up the stellar work mate! :)

Hey Scott! I am very interested in these pads, unfortunately I've broken a leg on my E-Board without any protection and am looking for a set that can handle impact so I won't have this happen again. Wondering how would these be during a fall and impact compared to the foam pads from lazyrolling pants?

As pointed out by several others, while these do look extremely nice, there are also "problems". First...and one I didn't see mentioned by others...is that quick-release strap. In an impact, I see the possibility of it getting accidentally released. Land on it at just the 'right' (or wrong, depending on how one considers things) angle, and that quick-release could pop right open. I don't care how great the neoprene is at holding that secondary scrap against the skin, because, when that quick release comes undone during an impact, that neoprene is going to rip right off of its holding position. Next...getting to need more important points, as mentioned by others...CF is gorgeous to look at, and quite strong. However, upon direct impacts, considering it also uses fiberglass resin, it will easily crack...and potentially shatter. Ever seen what a Corvette looks like after being in an accident? I also remember seeing a McLaren, which had a number of carbon fiber panels, after an accident. Trust me when I say it was extremely far from a "pretty sight". Do you really want your body being protected by that? Material strength is one thing...but, durability is equally, if not more, important.

No sizes? I went on their website and the only size is "freeesize". No go for me. These look nice but I'm only 5'7" 128 lbs. I need a small option.
@scottdaviesyoutube

Yea one size fits all can be a issue especially if your at the either end of the size scale
@italipino24

@@scottdaviesyoutube that's disappointing. Let me rephrase...that's terrible lol. Never heard of pads that only domestic in medium

Hi Scott, these look nice and light, with some good features. My only suggestion would be a plastic plate (ideally a replaceable one) on the kneecap and elbow impact points. Carbon fibre is light and strong in tension but doesn't tend to perform as well in single point impacts. That would make them stand up to.a lot more crashes before they need replacing.

Great detailing and nice they are so light. I'm waiting on a more subtle model. One just clean black or white. But this is way better than their foo fighter protection. It's got fabric over the pads. Which don't help with sliding when you fall. Great comprehensive video 👌🤙

I’d love to, the more people that message and ask for it the more likely they will ask me to do it I think it would be a awesome video especially as I’m so familiar with the Pro !!

am at a complete crossroads I've had a boosted plus and a Zealot S, I want to upgrade but between all these boards I have no idea what to get 😂😂 Hammer Sledge looks nice except I'm not too sure about the battery, the Zeus pro looks cool too, I don't really love the style of the Hurricane so it's kind of been lower on my list. But even the Endeavor pro looks awesome IMO I just wasn't sure about the turn radius, have you seen the new bushings for it? Or gotten a chance to try them.

I'm new to the eskate game but a skateboard vet. I'd say that the best form of protection is knowing how to fall. I'd recommend gloves above all this stuff combined with knowing how to flip, shoulder roll, ect., and developing enough upper body strength to catch yourself in a pushup rather than eating dirt.

Protection is a must for higher speeds. I wonder at what point will 'fast' be fast enough? Lotta high speeds that might be too much for first time riders

What are some pads maybe half the price of these that are just as fast to get on and off, maybe on Amazon? I like the way these snap on and off you don't have to pull them over your arm sand legs.

Received mine today. My opinion: way overpriced. I’ve had similar products for a fraction of the price. I do not believe these are worth $250.

Nice video about some protection however you left out gloves. Trust me on this. I had a nasty fall on my Ecomobl and my gloves were shredded! My hands were saved however 3 of my ligaments in my knee were not, surgery coming. Like you said it’s not a matter of if but when. Gear up when you ride!
