You did an incredible job to find really difficult questions for this test, which was made to convince more students, they don't know English well. Some of this questions is definitely higher than B2 level
Cope harder. You made four English language errors in your short reply. Maybe the questions seemed obscure to you because you're not as good as you think.
Wow, I got 9 out of 10 correct, without even guessing. The pitfall was the "nines" answer... In music, the guitarist always wants the amplifier to go up to eleven. Thanks for the great content, Lucy! Greetings from Holland!
Teacher Lucy thank you so much for the test. The B2 level is challenging and it has got to do a lot with idioms and phrases as well. I got 9 out of 10 . . . I learned most of the idioms and phrases by watching movies and documentaries, so that was helpful jeje I really enjoyed it!
I got 8/10 😁♥️ First of all thank you Miss Lucy for this short fantastic vlogs, it was really helpful . I am not a native speaker, although I can understand almost 80% of spoken English, I still have some hesitation to speak freely and fluently. I don't know really what's the problem, it might be my personality type as introvert or just a lack of confidence. Thank you again and keep doing what you do and best of luck. #love&support from Africa 🇸🇩
Well done! Hope this correction is helpful (I’m a native English speaker). “First of all, thank you, Miss Lucy, for these fantastic short vlogs; they were really helpful. I am not a native speaker. Although I can understand almost 80% of spoken English, I still hesitate to speak freely and fluently. I don’t really know what the problem is. I absolutely love your videos! I'm currently fourteen years old and I'm preparing for cambridge PET exams. I am not a native speaker and I know that my english is not the best but I think I could achieve level B2. I scored 7/10 which I think is pretty good. Your videos help me so much and I just have to say that admire you.
I got 7 out of 10 and yeah I made it so I'll be focus on my learning more that ever. Also Thank you lucy for being part of my English learning journey, I've learnt a lot from you.
Thank you Lucy! 7/10 💪 and I'm proud of myself, as I never study English in school, only books, RU-vid and audiobooks! Many thanks! Best for you for the new year 🎉
Got 9 out of 10... I was a bit confused about the 8th question. Knew about "no one" but also thought "far-reaching" wouldn't be correct. Thank you Miss Lucy for this test and your amazing lessons.
Even tho I have B2 level of English (or that’s what my English teacher thinks at least) I’m still using the basic English cuz it’s just better and more understandable for the others.
I got 8 out of 10. It was a nice test and helped me refresh my English.(I am not a native speaker) The ones I got wrong were the "dressed to the nines" and doomscrolling which to be honest I have never heard about. I will try C1 and see how it goes, thank you Lucy!
Dressing up to the nines was absolutly new to me, never heard about this and at doomscrolling I really was unsecure about but made a right guess... So i will give me an 85% level, but really won't describe myself as a confident speaker. It's a difference choosing the right answer from 3 suggestions than having a fluent conversation, there only practice can help :)
I have got the only mistake about these "tens"/ "nines/. The rest is perfect. When it comes to my vocabulary, I find the words automatically in my mind and put them in the sentence intuitively. When it comes to grammar, I am good at this beyond the doubts. Thanks for the test, Lucy. I am on my way to achieve C1-C2 levels.
I think that I have got the B2 level of English. Now I am industriously trying to improve my knowledge and start learning 2 other languages. I get 9/10 and my only mistake was in a question 4, which is about "dress to the nines". I know that Lucy used rare expressions but it was an interesting test! Thank you for your work, love your channel so much❤️
Cordial greetings teacher Lucy, I am self-taught in English, I just subscribed to your channel and I took the risk to take this test to see my level and honestly I answered correctly the first five, the following ones not, I will start classes in your channel from today 05/21/2023. I come from Cali Colombia, a huge hug for you, it's amazing your pedagogy and work, Thank you very much.😇🙏😇you made my day.
Hello, I took a test and you emailed that I am advancing towards B2. I am good at English. I am a private tuition teacher. I watched your videos and I learnt a lot, things like pronunciation.
To me, whether or not you know an idiom is not relevant to being at a B2 or C1 level or whatever... What's important here is being able to communicate. After all, we may never be able to speak like native English speakers...
I agree with that. Especially if you're not in an English speaking environment, you likely haven't ever heard them before. I spend a lot of my time on my exclusively English internet and didn't know most of these idioms. Although I believe with enough familiarisation and field practice we could learn to speak like natives.
I've got 6 right answers. It's pretty good result, cause I've been learning B2 level for only 1 month) So, thanks a lot for the video, it was interesting)
I scored 6 too and I had not taken any B2 level lesson from Lucy's course (nor anyone else's). Should I assume it was a good score? I wasn't happy with it.
I got 6, and I’m so happy tbh! I’m happy I’m a B2! And I’m 12 years old! Turning this year 13! I think I’m doing quite well for my age! I’ll definitely watch all your videos!❤❤
I got 8 out of 10. It was really tough though. I was struggling so hard to give correct answers. I think Lucy mam should go on with this type of tests.☺️ And a big hand everyone for our Lucy mam👏👏👏
I got 8/10😊 Thank you so much Lucy for teaching us about English, this video was really helpful,I’m not a native speaker yet,but I am working on it and thanks to you,my English has gotten better, thank you for taking so much time to make these videos😊
9/10 из-за того, что был уверен по поводу десятки в попросе про одежду. Lucy Вы как всегда обворажительны и слушать Вас одно удовольствие. Спасибо за тест!

@@madeinabyss9089 Just chill bro, i'm A1 english speaker and i've got 3.5 out of 10 English is about being yourself, be proud, you got 5 of 10, that's great score. You worthy write in english
T. Lucy thank you for all efforts you put in every videos. Whenever I listen or watch your vids it makes me feel refresh and focus! Keep up the good work and thank you!
8/10, I thought that I would not be that good, but it seems I'm better than I expected. Wet behind the ears and doomscrolling were very tricky questions, but now on, I'll remember them, I swear it! Thank you, teacher! Keep up the good work.
Hi Lucy. I got nine out of ten. But I should tell that it was unconfident. I just felt the correct options, but I would never use these phrases in a real conversation. I lack an everyday practice.
LUCY, THIS TEST FOR ME HAVING GRADUADTED B AVERAGE, 2 YR COLLEGE, IN 78, and having no other schooling or purposeful learning in grammar and vocabulary, was exceptionally easy. I remember knowing this by 7th grade, as a B student. Who then, is your audience?. I am in no way exceptional. Is your test a glimpse into the reality of our declining educational standards??? School, except for higher math in my case, was easy. I am greatly alarmed by this. All grade school children should be at a B2 level entering high school. Wow! Whoever is determining educational standards in the US "ain't gotta licko cents"
9/10, well I'm not stupid just unconfident She said question 8 was tricky, so i decided 'no one' would be too easy, so I made a mistake Btw, we have similar idiom to 'be wet behind one's ears' - "молоко на губах не обсохло" (="milk didn't dry off one's lips")
It took me more that 5 seconds to get the second, but even native English speakers would take more than that, so dont get frustrated just because you couldn't guess the correct orden within 5 seconds.
7/10 Thank you for providing us the test. The test mentioned me that I do n't have good knowledges of B2 level vocabulary, phrasal verbs and idioms! I'll make efforts.
Dear Lucy! Please allow me to ask a question. For 6 of your questions I was absolutely sure knowing the right answer. For 2 further questions I was not so sure, but I took the right answer. For question 1 and 10 I did not know the answer. But none of the 10 sentectes could I say in a conversation. More than 35 years ago, after finishing the university I had a really good level of english. The lack of practice let me forget many things. I understand much, but when I speak only very simple sentences come to my mind. Do you think, that your B2 course would help me in this situation? (PS: I am a hungarian native speaker and I speak german on mother tongue level, living since 34 years in Germany).
Well done, Lucy. I love these tests. Whenever I think I got perfect English I take one of these tests and feel like an idiot. Highly educational, thank you so much for this.
“Shall we start?” I’ve heard so many native speakers recently use “should” and indeed I do in text speak… Goes to show that native speakers very often ignore grammar rules, especially in informal scenarios.
Hi Lucy! I'm B1, I'm studying English at school and I got it on December 2022😂, but my score it's 7/10 and I don't know how?! Thank you so much for this test!❤❤ You're a fabulous person!
I got caught on the eighth question, looks like easiest of all and 5 of 10 was answered by the exclusion method, this time english seems to be such a very logical language
Hi there. Frankly speaking I actually had not seen and known this sentances and meanings many of these structures before. I was a tested by English native teacher and she said that I was B2 level of English(it was not really test). I was Talking with she via Zoom. English language still hide many secrets for a people who learn one.How should we learn the English language and také the knowlange so that know. THANK you up front.
I scored 8, honestly. And I must admit, I really had to think and work hard on some of the problems before giving the answers.... This was a very good test!
i got 7/10, although there were a lot of grammatical mistakes and phrases that i didn't know, i finally understood my english level and i need to study more and more, thank you Lucy, for your test :)
Hi Lucy! I did 9 out of 10 ;) Thanks God I didn't reach 10 of 10, otherwise I couldn't keep watching your videos and your indescriptible beautiful smile )))
İ solved your English test and i learned that.İm B2 level🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.İ'm so passionate to improve my English.İm so happy that for this situation,i cant explain.İ Coming there all alone.İ Gonna work for C1.THANKS FOR THAT YOU PREPARED YOUR ENGLİSH TEST.HA,İS THİS REALİSTİC AS CEFR CERTİFİCATE? no lies , I got 9 out of 10 but If you ask me how I would say I have no idea gow I did it. However, known how words rhyme harmonically together may helps the learner and give him an opportunity the get over that kind of problems in such situations especially during english test or something like this. kudos to you our bright britch online teacher, Note , I still face hideous problem with ordering adjectives correctly, for that I seek an forgiveness If I made a mistake and waiting your correction If there is any, bless you and your entire ppl you love .
I’m from England like my parents and grandparents and most great grandparents, I have lived in the south west of England my whole life, I can speak English fluently and quite well and it’s the only language I can speak and apparently I’m a B2 level English speaker.
Hello Lucy, thanks for sharing this test. I have a question about "BEING FLUENT"... I read a lot of job advertisements and I always see "be fluent" as skills required. Is B2 level fluent? Thank you in advance.
I just got 6 out of 10, I found the test a little difficult, but its not prolem I will keep pushing myself to get out of my confort zone and work hard to achieve B2 level as soon as possible
5 out of 10. You got me. I don't know such expressions/idioms and phrasal verbs. I've never heard any of these. And it's weird because I absorb a lot of english content on RU-vid, TV in comic books and where else..it is sad
I got 9/10 😄 The 4th question got me as I thought it referred to time and not ranking haha I don't know how I managed to get most of the phrases right because I never heard them, yet I found them quite intuitive? - for me, at least- According to my uni, I do have a B2 level so I'm satisfied with my results ^^
