I broke another ADD shaft.. i figured id make a quick video explaining what it is and why you should always have one on you. link to the G Zila Cv axle puller.. no more frustration using a pry bar! www.gzila.com/collections/rec...
You should just swap the manual hub intermediate shaft onto the diff while keeping your ADD. Eliminates a weak link and the only downside is that your front drive shaft spins all rhe time
I take them from junkyards and disaaemble the outers. i cut the up of the outer out and youre left with those 2 small stubs. I take 3 spare CV's with me on hard wheeling trips. If it's an easy-going trip I'll just bring a single CV
As far as I'm concerned your only options is this system, or a manual hub setup. Although this is not the funnest job, it's far more abundant to find these and cheaper than it is to find manual hubs, rebuild the outers to a tundra cv axle. It's in general more work and I like to keep things simple if possible.
