Do it gently, go up and down repeatedly but not too deep into the gum line (you don’t want to cut or bruise your gums). After all, floss is getting the plaque out of its nest in a way. The rinse afterwards is what removes the plaque from the mouth.
If you find it difficult to wind floss around your fingers to clean between your teeth, please try a double-handle floss holder. This method is to wind the dental floss around two sticks, which makes flossing very easy and eco-friendly.
This is for real teeth, please floss below the gum line. If it hurts and is bleeding, you might have gingivitis (probably due to not flossing properly) and need to see a dentist about it. No matter what you might or might not have, a little bit of pain and even bleeding doesn’t mean you shouldn’t floss properly. Just don’t go overboard with the depth, it stops at about the base of the tooth as shown in the video.
It takes time for the gums to strengthen, it hurts at first but gets better. It may be an indication of something more like a vitamin deficiency or gum problem.
@@joshcortezmusic8697i just got told i have gum disease and ive never flossed in my life im only 17 and ive never been taught so this video helps plenty and mine bleed like a pig when i floss
@@luken6619bleeding is from inflammation. Unfortunately the only way to stop the inflammation is to floss well. After 1-2 weeks of flossing well the inflammation will stop and you won’t bleed anymore I got this information from my dentist cuz I had the same thing
bro no so basically ur tooth are not connected to ur gums instead they are fit into tooth sockets in maxilla and mandible and these spots in between gums and tooth are callled gum pockets where germs are easily harboured as bristles of toothbrush never reaches there .... ya it may be painful but if ur gums get swollen due to germ inhabitation its called GINGIVITIS
@@mrz.queent9174Had appointment few months ago and dentist said I don't have gingivitis but still bleed though. Dentist said it was normal and to keep doing it.
I've been doing it for a few months already and my teeth are perfectly still, if that happens to you try to be more gentle while doing it and go visit your dentist
@@GameDevAraz If you push something into your gums, you can either rinse it out with water or go see a dentist so they can help you floss correctly and remove whatever may be stuck in your gum. 😊
Vaah....I got pain just touching to gum...forget about goings inside...it's dangerous. Nothing will happen I learnt at 29 yrs 😂.....still no plaque.....with no dental visit....brush does all the part this is just 5 %
This is so incredibly misinformed; your gums are likely bleeding and are sensitive/in pain BECAUSE brushing isn’t enough and your gum tissue hasn’t been conditioned. I promise you if you looked in the mirror and examines closely you’d see large plaque buildup around the recesses of your teeth in your gum-line, but it just looks like more of your teeth - I assure it’s not. I implore you to go to a dentist and have them remove the plaque from your teeth, just once, so you can see and feel the difference, because otherwise you’ll likely lose all your teeth over time due to gum disease.
@tigernguyen6693 there's nothing like that. Sometimes you have to accept it that people do have good gums and teeth. Even though didn't visit dentist. And on visiting after years she told me my teeth are so good. There's absolutely no problem. I just brush properly whenever I do. If u don't then u get plaque or whatever
Meeting drohanon has been a blessing to me ever since I started using his natural remedies I was able to live without diabetes and now I and my family live happily 🥰❤
I didn’t realize until recently that bleeding gums when flossing was not normal. My gums used to bleed even when brushing until I went to the dentist recently and they had to do a deep cleaning. Now I don’t have any issue. Please get checked if you have bleeding gums!
