There are many opinions explained (Yes/No). Are those opinions based on some evidences found in Sunnah or those are derived purely from the way they see it? For example, some say that before performing the sujud, one has to stand up first while others say no. Are both sides based on some ahadith or some reasonings they use?

Yes. Certain matters don't have a clear-cut evidence.. Therefore, some scholars infer the rulings from certain situations. These interpretations will vary. For example, some (the majority) scholars consider sajdah to be a 'part' of prayer, and therefore, wudu and qiblah are required. Other scholars said, but that is not a full/ proper rak'ah to be considered prayer, and the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم did not instruct his companions to go perform wudu before prostration. But in any case, if you follow either of the opinions, you are good in shaa Allah. But if you can, it is certainly better and safer to have wudu.

I've always wondering how is the correct way to perform this sujud, on youtube I see alot of different methods, say it in one you have to stand, do niat, takbiratul ihram whilw placing your hand in position like in praying, the sujud itself, then sit like thayyihat akhir, and completed with salam. But in another video it say you only need to do the sujud, without the niat etc and/or ended with salam. But all the video didn't mention any source, so I'm a litte bit confused.

Is it permitted to delay performing the sujjood? For example if reciting the Qur'an after performing Fajr prayer and it is sunrise.

Sujud At-tilawah in a sense resembles the prayer of eclipse (صلاة الكسوف) - it is done at a certain time which is approximate to its 'trigger'. Therefore, if there is a big gap of time between the ayah you recited, and the sajdah, then you can simply skip since it is not mandatory. If you follow the opinion that it is mandatory, then yes, you must perform no matter what. Here's a full fatwa on the matter (use translator if needed): shorturl.at/RfJ7I

Sujud at-Tilawah is one time. Twice in a row is for the sujud as-Sahw for “forgetfulness” (mistake in Salah)

Yes, it means that if you are praying silently on your own, you may perform sujud At-tilawah without a problem since there is no one following you who might get confused.

You should mention that SUJUD TILAVEH is a Sunnah only for 3 mazhabs (of 4) in Sunni world. According to Imam Azam abu Hanifah, it is a Vajib.

This is also a point of difference among the scholars.. Those who consider the sujud to be 'part' of nafilah prayer, say that women should cover in the same way they do for prayer. The other segment, that considered this not to be prayer or part of, said that they shouldn't have hijab. My advice take the safer option (if) you are able to and easy to do, since both opinions are considerable. Barak Allahu feekum

I have request for you that an ignorant person has made a claim that نعوذ باللہ Allah is satan astaghfirullah and gives that Allah uses the word مکر in the Quran and it is used for deciving in common Arabic and Allah says he is best of decivers and the person says that satan is the deciver so he claims this ignorant statement for Allah. Yes, Allah will deceive those who deceive the Muslims and who try to deceive Him SWT. He makes them think they are on the correct path due to the dhulm they perform, and by sealing their hearts. There is nothing wrong with harming and punishing the wrongdoers which is what Allah will do. "Allah" means "the God", this is simply a fact, and if that person wants to be an expert in the Arabic language, they need to accept that fact, and hence accept that Allah can not be shaytan.

There are two opinions on that. Those who think that sujud attilawa is prayer or part of prayer say that the woman must have the same clothes for salah .. Other scholars, who don't consider sujud attilawa as prayer, say that the woman does not have to have hijab for that. Both are considerable opinions, and if you go with either of them you are good in shaa Allah. I prefer the first, safer opinion.

No there is nothing wrong with this. The four schools of thought varies, they are not always correct and they can be wrong on a matter, if for example, one school of thought says something is permissible, but there is a clear sahih hadith of the Prophet (s.a.w) where it is said to be impermissible, should you follow the school of thought or the authentic hadith of the Prophet (s.a.w)? Obviously the authentic hadith.

@@hockadiamond well there’s more to it than just sahih and dh’if that’s why i go back to the scholars like imam alnawawi he’s a hafith so it’s not like you’re more aware of hadith than him what if the sahih hadith is mujmal or mufassal or mutashabih or mansukh when we say madhab it’s not just imam al shafi’i or imam ahmad or imam malik or imam abu hanifa there are thousands of scholars who read the ahadith and still follow the madhab this is a new innovation saying do we follow hadith or madhab and for your example all of the imams were more than learned about the ahadith it’s the understanding of the quran and ahadith we follow them otherwise they all followed quran and sunnah read their books and dalil you’d learn that they all had proof and nothing out of their pocket and going against the quran that’s why muslims have followed their teachings for more than a thousand years and if you ask me do you take imam al shafi’i’s understanding of the quran or a newer scholar i pick imam al shafi’i and this incident is like that this qari gave a fatwa but i’d rather hear fatwas of the four madhabs since i’m a shafi’i i will take what imam al shafi’i and shafi’i scholars have to say about this. don’t make religion less important and just pick fatwas ourselves would you get a surgery from a pharmacist?!

Nobody is more qualified than the Prophet SAWS. If your favourite scholar says something that opposes the sunnah of the Prophet SAWS, then your scholar's opinion is irrelevant. We follow the Qur'an, the sunnah, as understood by the salaf, and anything else is not from our religion.

There might be multiple Hadith covering a topic, or Hadith and Quran etc - so I think it’s right to say that only those who have studied the topic holistically = scholars, should be allowed to pass fatwas. Otherwise it’s easy to take a Hadith out of context and interpret it incorrectly maliciously or even innocently. out of ignorance. We trust doctors to prescribe medicine, we don’t just read a single study and DIY it… or we take a car to a mechanic when it breaks down, we don’t just read a manual and fix it ourselves.. the point is that education and experience matter. Isn’t the deen more important - so doesn’t it also need to be taught by those who are qualified?

@@lucidniprogramer589 you’re not understanding your own comment what is the understanding of the salaf the 4 madhabs are the salaf and the scholars that are from the 4 madhabs are the followers of the salaf this new salafi movement thinks only they follow the salaf and by the way when ibn uthaymeen reads you a hadith and gives a verdict that’s not called following the understanding of the salaf that’s you following his understanding and he’s not from the salaf the 4 imams are from the salaf so it’s not just a sign to hold quran and sunnah by understanding of the salaf while your fatwas come from the scholars of saudi of 1900s . check again if it’s really understanding of the salaf for example all for imams didn’t have problem with tawassul and tabarruk even albani said that so what Imam Ahmad said it’s halal it’s an innovation. albani called something innovation while imam ahmad said there’s nothing wrong with it. so the understanding of the salaf is different from albani and ibn baz and ibn uthaymeen .
