ACKCHYUALLY it was a maintenance garage in Anchorhead. Also, R2-KT was made for Katie, the daughter of Albin Johnson who is the founder of the 501st Legion. Katie has passed due to cancer.
1.) I vaguely recall that the original novelization of the first Star Wars film (attributed to George Lucas, but actually ghostwritten by Alan Dean Foster) included an excerpt from The Journal Of The Whills as a prelude to the story. I no longer have my copy of the book so I cannot reference any details from the excerpt. 2.) The filmed scene of Jabba The Hutt depicting him as a fat white man was never actually included in any officially-released cut of Episode IV. It is also interesting to note that the earliest Star Wars comics published by Marvel, including the official adaptation of the first Star Wars film, depicted Jabba as a bipedal, yellow-skinned, humanoid alien. This obviously became a major continuity problem by 1983 when it was revealed that for the Episode VI film, Jabba would be a large, hookah-smoking, slug-like alien partially inspired by the caterpillar character from Alice In Wonderland. Marvel's annoying pseudo solution to this dilemma was to publish its official adaptation of Episode VI as a completely separate series from the regular monthly Star Wars comic series, a decision that itself was a discontinuity since the official adaptation of Episode V had logically been included as a serialized part of the regular Star Wars comic series. So during 1983, readers who loyally followed the monthly Star Wars comic series were getting filler stories (leading up to the events of Episode VI) that abruptly transitioned to stories taking place after Episode VI, all of the key story details from Episode VI that wrapped up the Original Trilogy plot threads of the saga being published in a completely separate supplemental comic series that subscribers had to go out of their way to obtain. Go figure! 3.) I stand by my initial prediction that in Ahsoka Season 2 the character of Shin Hatti will become the flesh-and-blood avatar of Abeloth owing to the physical resemblance between depictions of the two characters. 4.) I do not recall the source (toy packaging, perhaps), but long before we knew anything about Mandalore, the earliest lore maintained that Boba Fett's costume (helmet & armor) was the official outfit of elite Imperial Shocktroopers who had served the Empire at its inception. By the way, since Boba Fett in his initial appearance on the 1978 Holiday Special was shown riding a dinosaur-like creature, I think the character's story should ultimately be bookended by someday having him somehow put in a situation in which he rides the Mythosaur of Mandalore. 5.) In The Acolyte when the Sapphic witches mentally take possession of Kelnacca the wookie, I could swear I heard Jedi Master Sol mutter the words, "Oh shit!" (Am I crazy, or what?)
All great fact additions! The Jabba comic I did not know. That's funny how even then there were huge issues with how characters look and the plot of the story like how there is today. I guess some things never change then lol. Thanks again for checking out the video David! -Jackson
