MHS Genesis Is absolutely a sick persons worse nightmare … its not user friendly and the creators made it more complicated then it needs to be ….Not only is logging in a hacker’s nightmare its a nightmare to the legitimate user and just creating a password your required to have stamina and have the patience of a daycare worker with 25 2 years olds screaming and to add to the nightmare your required to answer your phone over and over for a “Second Verification code” because well they codes timer runs out faster then my fat digits can type. The Military needs to start practicing the KISS principal…. Im personally done Im just going to start calling the appointment line to do all my healthcare business … I feel sorry for the call center people….Crazy

My son is trying to enlist and with genesis, wouldn’t they get all the info the recruiters need? They want us to go find the info on something when he was five while living with the ex in another state. Maybe just wait and see if there is a draft with all the conflicts happening.

I’ve heard that genesis doesn’t check prior service medical records after they got out of the military. Is that correct? I know a marine who’s trying to join the army reserve but he was prescribed adderall and klonopin after the marines but he’s been off the meds for over a year now. Would he be ok to join? Should he even bring it up to his recruiter?

Can you please elaborate and what the 'final inspect' entails when speaking with the doctor about possible medical changes since the first initial full physical? I am curious if they pull/search in MHS Genesis for new medical records after the first visit or they just take your word and don't search MHS Genesis again. Would you have to get a waiver if anything changed?

sorry if this is late to the game - how does Genesis hurt recruitment? It sounds like the whole recruitment process has wised up to the fact that things can be falsified or doctored which causes more problems in the long run. It is really Genesis's fault or is it simply closing up some of the loop holes?
