Base Salary in 2020 of soumyajit bhaiya will be:- 38-40l++(as bhaiya said 80% hike 😅) And in 2021 for obv it will be 50-55l+ easily (or can be say more then that bcz of industry growth in 2021 specially)
The figures given by you are low man see in 2017 his base was 12.5 in 2018 there is 3.5 increment making it 16 and again in 2019 there is an increment of 4 making it 20 so the increment per year is +0.5 to the previous year's. Base. So i checked his LinkedIn it says he worked there till sept 2020. In 2020 according to me it would be 24.5(4+0.5 to previous year) So he joined Amazon in oct and as said by him there is a 80% hike so making the total figure 24.5+18.42=42.92 it won't be 50 no company even Amazon gives 8 lakhs increment just after joining so in 2021 his base salary would have 47 approx I hope bhaiya shouldn't read my comment and delete it Thanks😜

One has to increase the earning potential to save or invest more .. Atleast SDE-1 to start with , otherwise 1cr as a Software developer to even earn is a decade away or so ...
@@SoumyajitBhattacharyay Actually I mean a decade around not decades .., sorry about that Considering what an avg software developer gets in India , i said that .. But once anyone becomes sde-1 or say sde-2 , it's like earning many times more than an avg developer ... I mean idk what percentage of engineers are able to become or earn as much as SDEs in India in the start of their carrear . Then it might be a decade game for others ... I mean hard to get exact number of years yet long game Yeah if someone can create side hustles or climb up fast then sky is the limit !

Bro i wanted to ask one question I'm currently in service based company i joined in May 2021 so i have a bond of 2 yrs I'm currently Learning AI and press working in data science field only so after 2 yrs if i shift to good startup for AI role weather it's good or i should do masters in abroad and get a job, after 4 yrs if i try to move from startup to top product company does the experience and skills matter or masters degree will matter the most for getting job
If your end goal is to placed on product based company so I would rather suggest to start preparing for that from now onwards, it doesn't matter if you have master's degree or not, if you are enough prepared you can even crack the interviews 😇 good luck 🙏

I think the expense table is over simplified. There are a number of stuff which weren't considered. Some from the top of my mind are - 1. cook and maid expenses 2. expense on clothes 3. other misc. stuff while moving to a semi furnished house or maintenance of existing stuff for moving to fully furnished house like nestaway 4. cab expenses (in case you don't have a vehicle) when you were going for your movies 5. Fuel charges if you own a vehicle
Umm these were my expenses. So obviously I have considered these things here. 1) Cook and maid is already an extra line item, 2) shopping and gifts are already presents, 3) stayed at fully furnished houses. Had bought fridge and washing machine, which I sold for a net loss of 3.5k. 4) Transportation cost is also an extra line item that is present. All of which have been included. You go to movies along with your friends. We stayed in a very good area, with everything accessible. The transportation used to cost around 100 - 150 bucks for an uber go. for 3/4 people. 5) Did not own a vehicle so no cost there. 🙌. So all in all everything has been accounted for here. Not over simplified at all.
Great to have this insight about finances , thankyou very much. Bhaiya one think want to ask people are saying that IT in coming few years will fire the surplus employees which they have hired , the inflated package will come down again and what not.. Please do enlighten us about these things .

To get 4 lac as investment income from FD, you need more than 50lacs from 1st year based on 6.5% return. I guess your parents provided some initial push for this ?
To be honest though the investment income is guestimate. At the moment sitting on around 80 lakh as FD amount. Last year alone got around 4 lakhs as investment income amount. So did an approximation. Might be the case that it is off a couple here and there.
It should be pretty accurate. 50 at 6 percent is around 3lakh as income in a year. Assuming around 1 lakh comes from the first three should be ok I guess. Worst case it may be around 3 lakh.
