Alyn walks to Doan to take in some of the breath-taking views from Doan at the heart of the Eastern Mourne Mountains. A straightforward walk to the summit, he makes good time as the shadows lengthen and the winter light is golden.

It was one of those good days to be out Gerry. Cold and crisp but when youre wrapped up it really doesn't matter. There's a special beauty in a winter-worn Mourne scene.
Was a beautiful winters day Gary. The long- johns were essential and made all the difference particularly when I was sitting around. But the light down the valley and across the plateau was just perfect if a little hazy, just beautiful. Thanks for the Christmas wishes. I hope you have a great Christmas yourself Gary.
