DOBERMAN PINSCHER BREED REVIEW 

I have a 45 day old Doberman puppy red color. He got parvovirus and he's very sick. Please pray for him. He's at vet right now. Please pray. I don't want to lose my 45 day old child. Thank you all. Update Day 3: He received 3 syringes or injections. He's trying to recover but it's all up to his immunity after treatment. I'll have to go vet again in few hours. I'll share how it goes. Thanks guys Day 3 : At 2nd visit he did vomit 3 times and acted weak. Vet said it'll be clear till day 5 about him Day 4 : he didn't vomit anything today. He was a bit active compared to yesterday also hungry. Really want to give his fav puppy food but vet said he should not have anything else than his meds. Thanks for support guys Day 5 : There was some red color in his stool but still active. Goin crazy when see someone eating. Results will come tomorrow 23 July - He Fully recovered from parvo and is active playful and all fine! I don't have words to show my gratitude toward everyone who showed him so much love and prayed for him. Thank you guys! Jack said he loves you all!❤️

Dobermans are the best dogs I have ever had. One even giving her life protecting my daughter. They love their families more than any other dogs, and I have had all different breeds. Doberman is my favorite though.

These dogs are insane. Mine is a show line, and my family can hardly handle him. He was an impulse adoption on my mother's part, and it was really stupid of her (I told her multiple times to not do it). She had no knowledge of the breed's characteristics or needs, she isnt active, and actively refuses to walk him or do any type of training with him (she pretty much threatens him with an ecollar, and he's smart enough to know when it isn't on him and doesn't listen when it isn't). This breed is definitely not for people like that. He needs so much attention and work and exercise, and he definitely isn't getting it here, unfortunately. It's good my house has a big wrap around yard or he'd be literally bouncing off the walls. My mother wants a guard dog that listens, and you won't get that by not working with and exercising your dog. This breed is definitely not for the lazy or inexperienced owner.

We lost our beautiful doberman last August. He was old and very ill, but it was still so hard when we had to have him euthanased - and we miss him so much..... we have another dog now (a smaller breed as we are getting on a bit) but we will never forget our beautiful Jack the doberman ❤

My buddy's doberman lived 15 healthy years. He was such a sweet boy. I never though a 120lb dog could be that kind and gentle

I'm planning on owning this breed, so I'm doing all the research I can before hand. I'm taking my time and learning everything there is to know.

It's great to see an honest and real review. These truly are dogs that excel at everything. They are one of the most intelligent breeds in the world and have the prowess and looks to go with it. Beauty, brawn and brains all in one package.

I have a two year old my my parents have a 1 year old. They are the most loving and protective dogs ever. They are sensitive and will be there for support of you need them and if they get into something they aren’t supposed to they let you know they are sorry. They are sensitive to how you act to them and all they want is to make you happy. That makes loving them that much more easy.

My father had one back when I was kid in the 70s and early 80s , my neighbor had a red one back in the mid 90s great dogs

Good video. As a Doberman owner and lover for decades, I can say they may not be everyone's favorite, but they are mine.! The Doberman is the Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant/LeBron James of the dog world. Sleek, athletic and intelligent, I have lived from small apartment to huge home with backyard and the Dobie thrives in both. With proper care and attention (which every dog should have.!) you would be hard pressed to find a dog that checks as many boxes. Loyal, loving and fun to be with. All they want is to be with and around you, and to please. Couldn't ask for more. Oh, did we mention they are great protectors as well.!

I have been dreaming for couple of years about getting my own Doberman. Now finally 3 weeks from now i’ll be getting my own baby girl from a top breeder ! Just met the litter and parents yesterday and I was stunned of theyr beauty.

Great breed. Can't stress enough how loving and loyal these dogs truly are. I have a male and a female. However, as stated in this video, health issues are something that every potential owner should thoroughly investigate before purchasing a puppy to avoid heartbreak down the road. DCM alone is so rampant, more than 40% of dobermans are genetically predisposed and will get it at some stage in their life.

We had one her name was sweety she died very young maybe a bad breeder because we didn't knew much about breeder's let alone good or a bad one I still miss her

We had a Doberman growing up. She was wonderful, easy going, loved us kids and all the neighborhood kids who would come to the house and there were always people coming and going. Thank goodness for responsible breeders doing what they can to keep the breed healthy.

Our family had 4 Doberman's and they were all fantastic. A couple of things that weren't mentioned is that they are one of the most intelligent breeds and also are called "velcro" dogs, as they are always at their owners side. They truly are the best and very low maintenance

I love most dog breeds, I love the Doberman breed. They seem really smart and loyal. I’ve owned a Staffordshire terrier, short legged staff in my life and also one of the most amazing dog I’ve ever known. Sadly, Jazz passed away a while ago but she lived a full, happy life and she was almost 17 years old which as far as I know is evident that she had an amazing full life. That’s the most sad thing though to face that reality. The dog is a very much part of the family and can be like children and jealous. So it’s important to socialise and train them properly. To give them the love they deserve but make it known that you are the boss of him/her. Otherwise, I find that they can take liberties to the most extreme. My Staffordshire Jazz when she was alive. She was so loving and bought so much joy to the family. I truly miss her loads and like many owners believe that there dog is the best in the world. I had that same mindset when Jazz was around and in her prime. I love the look of the Doberman but I find it sad that they can get health problems and don’t seem to have a very long life span. That’s very sad but nevertheless, they seem an amazing breed to own and have as well.

I always knew the history, but it just hit me that breeding this dog as a tax collector meant it was the muscle. You have to think about the resistance folks would put up when a collector showed up to collect from them.

I had a Doberman growing up, she was very protective, not crazy protective but calm and calculating. My step mom moved in, extremely abusive lady, needless to say she had a local farmer put her down for getting between her and us. It was very bad news for my siblings and I from there on, but that dog is my earliest memories as a small child. Melody would lay next to me until I fell asleep and then she would go check on my siblings and if they were still awake she would lay with them until they fell asleep but always me first.

Adopted my red 3 months ago from the shelter. I never was really interested in the breed either, but I had done some research when I was looking for a dog and at breeds. I personally don't like their cropped ears, but I'd seen some with floppy and that's what attracted me. I read and heard dobies are very energetic, so I decided it wasn't a breed for me given my health issues. But that's what I ended up getting! Saw him at the shelter and instantly connected. Mine is not a runner. I wouldn't say he's hyperactive or extremely energetic or very athletic. He's not a couch potato either. I think he's just right for me. It's the mental stimulation I have a hard time with, not the physical exercise. He doesn't like toys! 😔

Quick question, I see mostly that on larger breeds its common for people to dock the tails. I read somewhere that the tail is like a pendulum, the dogs center of balance basically. So my real question is do you think its truly necessary to dock the tails, what are the positives and negatives? My opinion is that docking the tail kinda hinders the dog from what it can truly be. I’m 22 and really want to breed one day in the future so I want to get as much info as I can. This is by far the best channel that I have come across since I been on youtube. I really enjoy your videos. Would you consider making a top 10 list of dogs for people who work full time? I know that no dog should be neglected or taken for granted, but could you think about dogs like the Shar pei, who are independent and who are perhaps more suitable for full time workers, people who are also attentive and responsible dog owners willing to put in the time, but who are perhaps not suitable owners for the higher maintenance breeds of dog due to the necessity of being absent for 8 hours to make a living? I think that that is a video that would be very useful for a lot of your subscribers. Many, many dog lovers are single, with no in house person to take up the slack during work hours. A whopping 45% of U.S.A. adults are single according to 2017 statistics. I have been single all my life and try to keep two dogs of relatively staggered ages to keep each other company while I am out working. That has worked well for the most part, for 30 years, but guidance on suitable breeds for this type of lifestyle would be appreciated. Thanks.

for anyone doubting the doberman's capacity for a good family dog: as a little girl, my family kept several dobermans. i would sleep in their bed and be comforted, they would accompany me everywhere, and on one occassion, saved my life from a poorly kept pit bull when it broke loose and charged me. if they come from good, stable breeders, and are kept in a reaponsible home, these dogs are fantastic. if the breeding is shitty they are prone to health issues with nerves and the brain in my experience, and can become aggressive to those outside of the family.however, i have always seen dobermans as noble protectors, and if so trained and bred, very good for protecting children. no matter how much i tugged their ears as a child, they never snapped lol. only growled at strangers who approached me.

Does anyone know of any good Doberman breeders? I'm looking to get one as a pet. But I want it to have that protective instinct. I prefer the looks of American Dobermans over European and would really want to get an American Doberman with a good amount of heart and courage. I also want to avoid very restrictive breeders with prying contracts that want to have the dog microchiped, or require the buyer to keep in touch with the breeder throughout the life of the dog. Any recommendations? Would be very appreciated.

I've always wondered what happens to the puppies when someone creates a breed. Do hey kill he ones that don't display the characteristics they want? Or do they have them fixed and give them away as pets...

Have you heard of anyone out there breeding Dobermans with German Pinschers? We were considering a German Pinscher but when we met one in person is was just a little too small. We wouldn’t be wanting to get an 90 lb+ dog either so that’s why I was wondering if anyone out there is doing that.

Me, a German, it will be a German Dobermann. I don’t think that I could even get an American one without shipping the pup here. On a side note, I wanted to get a Doberman in the future after I met a Dobermann (a really sweet one at that) that was rescued by an elderly couple. He was kept in the bathroom of a small apartment , drank water from the Toilette bowl, sometimes a got leftovers from the dinner, but most of the times they just beat him. He has not bitten anyone so far, but he will be restricted in almost every aspect of his life. He is easily stressed because he doesn’t know anything, he hates men and took a long time trusting his current male owner. The elderly couple has done a wonderful job with raising him, but it could have easily gone in a different direction. The thing is, you are responsible for this dog. The Doberman was lucky this time, but there are tons who aren’t.

There are some differences between European Doberman and American. Where bred isn t the issue but breeder. American Dobi is more frail when compared to European. It's the most intelligent dog I have ever had.

I hate the bad rep they get. My Doberman is a therapy dog and when I take her out on walks people cross the street even though she doesn’t lung ,pull on the leash, or bark. I’ve worked really hard with her and she’s very eager to please and licks things up really quick! I just think the news blows things out of proportion.

My red & rust doberman was the best farm dog I have ever owned. She would protect my farm animals which were chickens, rabbits, quails, turkeys, other birds & goat from wild animals
