After spending two months in Gaza, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) medical team leader Dr. Javid Abdelmoneim spoke to CNN's Christiane Amanpour about the various difficulties facing Palestinians in Gaza, including the current health conditions and multiple displacements many have faced. He emphasized the physical and mental toll it has taken for both patients seeking care and medical staff.

Christiane Amanpour knows exactly what is going on. She phrases questions in that way because she wants to reach the people in denial or oblivious. The point is to wake those people up, not to talk to those of us who are already aware.

Why is Chritiane Amanpour talking about areas bein CLEARED of Hamas. As per UN Charter an occupied territory has the right to self defenc n the resolution to declare Hamas a terrorist org did not get approved. In fact what Israel is doing cld b classified as amongst the worst of human rights violations. While I strongly condemn the killing of any civilian, the grossest of human rights violations hv been committed against Pales for over 70 yrs . World leaders did NOTHING. In fact continued to fund n support Israel. Even now US Senators n politicians strongly, unequivocally support Israel even tho many Israeli politicians n sr army personnel hv made horrendous statements like starving Pales, wiping them out, they r all animals ... bombing hosp, schools n shelters n much more. It's about expulsion of Palestinians by any means (eg starvation, maiming, harassment/intimidation, incarceration/"academic detention", death) necessary and this has been going on well before Oct 7th. Just look at the last 15, if not 75 years. Breaking The Silence is a growing group of ex-IDF soldiers speaking out. B'tselem is an Israeli human rights organization. 1st. There are quite a lot indications that IF Hamas freed all their hostages, Israeli would NOT stop. - for example: Netanyahu wants to eradicate Hamas. - so no matter our opinion about Hamas, if they know that IDF would probably not stop until all of Hamas - that means including themselves are killed, why should they then release the hostages- and wait to be killed by IDF anyway 2nd: there was no peace in Gaza October 6, apart from being heavily oppression before October 6, 2023 was the year in newer times when IDF have killed the most Palestinians. 3rd. IDF put people in prison - also children - without charges or due process. And there are many reports of severe torture. Last video of an alleged r@p3. Many of all these detainees could as well be called hostages. (Because many of them have been captured for no reason)
