5:45 living with this is absolute hell. I got it by not stretching before dancing and it was just HECK. This happened 2 years ago. I still MINORLY have it. It doesn’t disrupt my walking, dancing, standing, lying down, or breathing anymore. I just still can’t sit up straight with my right leg flat on the ground. Hurts.

We need Doctor Mike to pronounce more medical terms in German, that was hilarious! Fun Fact: Many medical terms in Japanese are actually incredibly similar to the words in German, since after the Meiji restauration the Japanese learned from German doctors and implemented the knowledge into their medical system. Thus, still to this day they sound like funnily pronounced German words! This is also why many Japanese Doctors speak a little bit of German, because as far as I know it is mandatory for them to learn the language during their studies

Haha, yeah I can still see the doctors face when my girlfriend had to get treatment in the States some 20 years ago and when the doctor, a woman, asked if she'd take any medication, my girlfriend said anti baby pill, which is a term used all over Europe, not just Germany. I guess the German tourists indroduced that term everywhere.

6:58 That reminds me. A friend of mine works at the hospital taking emergency calls, and once got a call from someone whose friend had stabbed himself by accident. The guy calling in was kind of proud how he'd handled the situation, checking the victims vitals, bringing him into lateral position and "put the knife back in." ...Yes, apparently the knife had fallen out of the wound when he moved the guy around, but he knew it was supposed to stay in there, so he just carefully slid it back in to stop the blood flow. ^^° I think that kind of stuff happens a lot more than you'd think, especially in a panicked situation you don't really think twice.

Doctor: It's sciatica. Here's a prescription for PT. At PT: Does 1 core strengthening exercise, and my leg's completely stop working. At the ER: So, we did an MRI, and it turns out your thoracic spine is FRICKED, but your lumbar and sacrum are fine. My Doctor, when I return in a wheelchair, with an absolutely wild story and series of diagnosis: ......... I absolutely never would have guessed your back and leg pain was caused by your thoracic spine. The more you know. - That was an absolutely wild several years of my life. Also, being at PT when your legs to decide to completely stop working is possibly one of the best places for such a thing to occur, if it has to. But to this day, whenever I have a friend who is like, "I have sciatica," my brain is like, well yeah, you probably do, it's way more common, or you could be me, and actually have like, 10 other things wrong with your spine, and not have sciatica.

9:00 When I had a heart attack my heart stopped for 4 minutes. I woke up and they were doing CPR. The nurse performing the CPR did a really good job and did not even break any of my ribs. While I would not say it is comfortable, it didn't actually hurt that much. I did have a very sore ribcage for about a week after though. The heart attack itself was really painful though. I had my leg amputated when I was three. When I was 10 I had to have a revision that involved breaking my sump to make it grow straight. A few days after that surgery I was walking on crutches when I fell. I landed full force on the end of me stump. Until the heart attack, that was the most painful thing I have ever felt. The heart attack was more painful than that.

So I speak German and I had to laught so much when he pronounced "Verhütungspille", since it took me so long to understand what he just said, since 'ü' is differently pronounced than 'u'. By the way "Verhütungspille" literally translates to "contraceptive pill". But generally we call it just "Pille".
