I’ve had 3 kidney transplants, 3 heart attacks, mechanical aortic valve replacement- will have 2nd one within 2-3 years, 9 other major surgeries, hundreds and hundreds of procedures, and oh my, medications…. I hear y’all, understand y’all, and I’m surely praying for y’all. I write all these issues, not give satin time, but to give God ALL THE GLORY! I just had what surgeons call, the mother of all surgeries , It’s 3 to 6 months recovery and no driving for 8 weeks. You have to do what the doctors say, please don’t rush your recovery. Praying for you both in this difficult time. ❤❤❤

As a paramedic I had noticed in your last video with Matt that your breathing was labored. Hot temps make moving around much harder especially when you have heart issues. I’m glad you’re getting it done sooner rather than later. You’ll feel so much better once you’ve healed. Recovery will be rough but I have no doubt you have it handled.

You mentioned asking for prayers for your patience and attitude during your recovery. This is so very important! My Uncle, who was always busy and didn't deal with inactivity good at all. His personality changed for the worse after surgery and had severe depression. My Grandma had milder but similar symptoms too after hers. I mention this, not to scare you but to help give awareness if you see or feel changes after surgery, you will not be alone. We can all help pray that the Lord will put a hedge of protection around you to guard against frustrations and depression. May you feel as much peace during healing as you have now about the surgery. ❤

My husband did this operation in Switzerland about 6 years ago, he was 65, and he has been really well since then and was so happy in the hospital, and testifiing of his faith to everybody and was very peaceful, and I was very calm about all of it. The lord has been so good. So praying for you, peace and confidence.

I as raised Catholic & went to Catholic school for the 1st thru 4th grades. 3 of my teachers were nuns & my mom & 1 were invited to join them at at their convent on numerous occasions. They always said that I'd become a sister in their Order. I thought long & hard & really sought the Lord's plan for my life. I finally became a member of the Foursquare Church & I've never been happier! I said all of that to say this, the 1 thing I always remember from those early yrs is the Sisters motto, "How good is the good God." I think Chad's phrase is similar, "God is good & better (?)." Ralph, In this video I finally heard how winded you get when you're working & talking. I hadn't noticed it before, but it sounds like what they tell ppl when they exercise, "You should work until you feel it, but are still able to talk." Grandpa Doss, ever since I saw you do the wormy dance for your chickens two years ago I knew you were a remarkable human. I've now gotten to know the rest of your family. They are remarkable and also. My Blessing for you is that your surgery is successful, but more so, I pray that you are given the strength to recover fully. To not give into the temptation to do the wormy dance before you and your body are ready! I pray you allow Grandma to help you achieve that goal. It is not a sign of weakness needing help. Sending prayers for all in need today. It's been a sad weekend for me because I had to send one of my fur babies to heaven on Friday. His name was Meka and he was born in my house almost 19 yrs ago. My heart is broken and have cried throughout the weekend because I will miss him cuddling with me. Even in my sorrow I have tried to thank God for the gift of Meka. What a blessing.
