The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Michael Waldron.

I really appreciate you giving us a 20-min review with basically no spoilers at all, Sean. That's greatly appreciated. I've been trying to avoid all spoilers - even from trailers - but still wanted to get your sense of the movie & if I can take kids. This is great & appreciated. Cant wait to see it myself in 2 days

I don’t even mind that there won’t be many cameos. I just want to see more Wanda and Doctor Strange. Sam Raimi directing an MCU movie is great and I love that there will be horror elements as well.

@@LoudonClear I mean the last movie we saw him direct was 2013’s Oz: the great and powerful and the last SUPERHERO movie he made was 2007’s Spider-Man 3. Hence why this is so exciting, because this is the first proper movie he’s directed in nearly a decade.

I like how Phase 4 of the MCU is developing a darker tone. The mummy scene from Moon Knight was straight out of a horror movie in a good way, and hearing you talk about the tone in the back half of this movie makes me even more excited

Same. It worked well for no way home, but I don’t think fan service fests will hold up for long if they become the standard. I feel there’s a portion of people who go to see a marvel movie/show with the intention of seeing everybody except for the titular character, which is just so weird. I’m afraid the producers will Pick up on that and start disregarding the plot and just overstuffing every movie with cameos.

With the MCU setting up many of its darker comic roots, many fans of those stories (myself included) were worried that the source material would be toned down to fit the MCU mold. I’m super happy to hear that they pushed their own boundaries in a Doctor Strange movie. It leaves more room for the darker content of the future to be more raw and loyal to their comics

To be honest, everything about this movie excites me. Sam Raimi is awesome for a film like this, not much more to say. Wanda and Stephen are two of Marvel’s best characters currently, so that’s exciting. I keep hearing that it’s the most brutal Marvel film, which is exciting. And even though there aren’t as many cameos as we thought, I’ve heard that the ones we get are very substantial. I can’t wait. Only 2 more days!

Great video, the way you express yourself so clear without giving spoilers is one of the best things of your channel. Im personally very excited to watch how weird, gory and scary is it, I loveee having these things in the MCU I honestly think that the problem this movie will have is that people were crazy making theories without nothing to support it, so they will feel disappointed like what happened with WandaVision

Appreciate the spoiler free review as always Sean! I can’t wait for this film to be honest. So hyped! This is easily my second most anticipated film of the year… The Batman was my first but this one is definitely a second! I’m intrigued to see what they do with the multiverse in this film after No Way Home… Lots of opportunities, lots of possibilities and lots of potential!! I’m excited about the potential cameos but judging by your review and what I have heard already, there doesn’t seem to be as many as everyone is expecting?

The way I “hate” Wanda/Scarlet Witch in this movie makes Lezzie Olsen a versatile actress. I love how she managed to switch smoothly into different characters, and that sokovian accent, ugh… PERFECTION!

The way you describe it, it sounds like wandavision is required viewing for this movie. I have no problem with this because I watched all the shows but I could see this becoming increasingly alienating to more casual viewers as the movies with wider audiences are continuing off story threads from the less viewed shows

That's one of my biggest gripes(haven't watched it yet). Why is a movie called in the multiverse of madness, introducing the multiverse for the first time not around 2.5 hours but around 2? Then again maybe they are saving ideas for a next bigger movie so i don't mind that much, but they did inflate our expectations with that title

You know what? I'm actually happy that the MCU keeps on trying new and different things, even if they don't always work out. I would rather have a bunch of different types of movies then the same ones over and over again.

Yeah aside from now way home Shang chi black widow and falcon and the winter soilder all mcu projects since Wanda vison have been very unique from a wacky twilight zone sitcom to pretty much a doctor who show to a lighthearted dramadie with low stakes to an ambitious drama that takes place over 1000 years to a super interesting sudo phycological thriller to a sudo horror movie

I loved this movie! It was brilliant, not what I was expecting, but still brilliant! It's like when Civil War was released, some people complained that it was more like "Civil argument" than "Civil War", but this movie was Madness. Not like 20-Cameos-epic-Multiverse-battle Madness, but more like Really-weird-and-mindblowing-cool Madness! I don't think the movie was to short, even though there's a few scenes that I think could have been added to to make it run a little smoother. I agree with some of the complaints about the script. Some of the dialouge felt a bit off at some times, but it was off in a way that you could laugh at it so I think it makes it a bit more okay. And I still think the portrayal of Dr. Strange's powers were best in Infinity War with his fight against Thanos, but we still got some epic action! And the visuals were jawdropping, the acting was top tier all around, the story was really exciting and emotional, like I said, I loved this movie! I think phase 4 had a rough start but since Spider-Man: NWH is all been brilliant I think.

Sean kevin feige just confirmed in one interview that The spell in no way home went wrong because Sylvie killed He who remains , if she didn’t kill him the spell would have worked fine.

Hey, I’m sorry if this is a weird question but I am seeing the film on Thursday and am not good with horror, specifically I can’t handle any variations of eye mutilation. @@jasmineparris2004 there is a scene at the beginning of the film where a sharp object goes through somethings eye, it is a bit graphic but it’s early in the film and that kind of thing doesn’t happen again

I like that this movie wasn’t just filled with cameos and references. Ppl were expecting it to be the next endgame when that isn’t what it was intended to be. I like that the story was more character based rather than cameo based, and I liked the dark and unique tone that the movie had. It felt different from the standard mcu movie, and that’s a good thing imo

Thought the film lost a lot of steam after those pretty violent sequences you talked about but as a whole a top 10 mcu film for me. Absolutely loved the Scarlett witch. Wish I could say more but I’ll leave it at that !
