Seriously thought it sounded like Ian Mckellan's voice, but the back of the head looks like Patrick Stewart. There is an Earth version where Magneto is part of the Illuminati, and I think the MCU has enough history that they might do a blend where they bring in both Patrick Stewart and Ian Mckellan as part of the Illuminati of a different multiverse within the MCU.

For sure. You have a row of chairs set up with Strange conveniently blocking the area where the voice comes from. Makes sense to me you would have a "council" and Xavier would be on it, and you would have everyone sitting in respect.

Might be reading into this too much, but for me the fact that they pretty much confirmed Prof. X means that he's kind off a "small" thing for them to show at this stage, so what more are the ones possibly still being hidden similar to No Way Home where they showed Molina and the others reprising their Spider-Man villain roles, but stayed silent for Tobey and Andrew.
I think it's more likely the case that Patrick Stewart returning as Professor X was extremely strongly rumoured/leaked. Stories of him returning emerged last August by comparison with more recent stuff about other characters. So I think they're going down the same avenue as Sony did of showing a character (Doc Ock in Sony's case) who was the most strongly confirmed already since that's less of a spoiler.
I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s only like 2-3 cameos from the fox universe of even the Netflix, ABC, or Hulu shows but the movie was originally was supposed to be a horror movie but Scott derrickson and marvel had a disagreement I think marvel wanted more multiverse and derrickson wanted horror but I think the plot it mostly the same so I don’t think there’s gonna be a ton of insane cameos like everyone thinks

I actually think thats a solid move. When you have a movie like this or like No Way Home, where speculation is endless due to the Multiverse... give us a crumb or two. It's only going to make us wonder what else could be here.
This is about to be one of the best Marvel movies ever. Seeing this trailer alone makes me more excited for the MCU’s Midnight Sons. We got Doctor Strange, we’re getting Moon Knight before this, we’re also getting Blade, Werewolf by Night, and I’m hoping I get to see Robbie make his return to the MCU in this and after this, his own movie hopefully. You gotta have Ghost Rider in that team since he is a staple member.

could EASILY be the 90s X-Men animated series… the leaked Prof X look had a similar yellow floating chair design to that & it WOULD make sense that they’re continuing that story on disney+ as X-Men “97….
that wasn't actually zombie wanda. it's just a more bloody version of wanda. she wears a white sweater in that "zombie wanda" shot and we also see it in the official trailer but she has less blood on her face. I think wanda is going to massacre everyone in the illuminati headquarters hence why she's covered in blood
I’d definitely go watch WHAT IF, Wandavision, Loki, and MoonKnight (when it comes out). All of those are going to play a big part in this movie. This movie looks absolutely insane!
The professor x superior iron man and zombie strange cameos were definitely the spot light stealers for this trailer but can we all take a min appreciate the tone and setting the music paints with this trailer, damn this is a good trailer

@@godwinalex6909 the scene where wanda is fighting someone the looks to be like a captain marvel look alike, its superior iron man just bcuz of the 3 different colors that are emanating from the character, bcuz the leaks that said professor x and the illuminati were going to be playing a big roll in this movie also said, tom cruise is playing a version of iron man that is in position of 3 infinite stones and keeps thanos decapitated head in a bowl, so not only is there 3 different colors emanating from them, but it has a cosmic iron man look to it as well

He did do some time stuff in the 1st Doctor Strange and looking into the many possible futures in Infinity War. In No Way Home, his stopping the spideyverses from coming into the MCU any further I don't think necessarily warrants him "controlling everything" as with what Wong is saying. In NWH he's just fixing what he did in that film. Wong is speaking as if Strange was trying to stop something meant to happen and didn't happen? Also if he didn't stop the spideyverse characters, they'd come in anyway. Didn't the TVA say whatever happened was meant to in the MCU. So he was suppose to try and control something, if it is something before this movie. I think it is something he did whether we saw it already or in this film that is not in NWH. Or it could be two forms of conversations from an incident in the past or current /NWH issue.
I honestly think they are referencing Infinity War/Endgame timeline where he saw over 14 million realities in which all of them the Avengers lost and in 1 they win. Wong is reassuring him that he doesn't have to continue putting so much weight on his shoulders but instead that he does have a role in helping protect the multiverse. The situation in No Way Home will be used as an example for context where Wong shows Stephen doesn't have to intercede in everyone's life as sometimes it creates more problems than solutions.
There's a zombie Strange on the TV Spot and I'm willing to bet that he will become Nightmare by absorbing the Dark/Necro magic shown at the end of this trailer.
I am confused about one thing: I thought what happened in Loki was the catalyst for the multiverse opening or is that something slightly different? I assumed Kang would be the big bad for this phase and maybe 5 but No Way Home and Multiverse of Madness seem to be leading to something else.
I think what happened in Loki just allowed for the existance of all these crazy realities that are so different because the multiverse is no longer confined to the sacred timeline, but doctor strange is the one who actually tears it open. But Kang is definitely coming later and I’m sure it’s gonna be even worse than whatever madness doctor strange causes
The death of He Who Remains exposed the Sacred Timeline to the Multiverse not the other way around. The TVA hellbent on removing the branches so that the Sacred Timeline could stay hidden, secluded within a pocket dimension away from the Multiverse. So that He Who Remains could take over a timeline on his own without other variants like Kang disrupt him. Think of the Sacred Timeline as Wakanda or Ta Lo, how they're hidden from the outside world or in this case, hidden from the Multiverse.

I personally never had any doubt that Multiverse of Madness was gonna be incredible but after No way home I can't even put into words how excited I am! The movie comes out one week after my birthday so I'm spending that money to visit the cinema at least 5 times

This is a way to change/make new characters that everyone knows (origins, life/death) but if the multi-verse ends up all mixed up then anything goes! Heroes and villains are now inter-changeable, new actors/actress playing new or past characters in new/different roles. High Tech, Magic, and gods/demons are now open game and will mix, just like the limited series (live-action and animation) and movies and everything will be interconnected.
Those six seats belong to: - Sorceror Supreme Doctor Strange; - Black Bolt, King of the Inhumans; - Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men and mutant rights activist; - Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic, founding member of the Fantastic Four; - Namor the Sub-Mariner, King of Atlantis; and - Iron Man (Anthony Stark), founding member of the Avengers.
It all leads to the big Celestials battle in the later phases, but somehow, someway, something tells me that Kang knew these events would happen becuase the last episode of Loki was outside time. Every event we're probably seeing in cinema and show on network tv and to arrive on network tv, might be events of the past or a version of the past won by He Who Remains. People forget that Kang won the first multiverse war against all super powered beings. History might repeat itself. If the illuminati aren't wise to Kang's method of victory, the same cycle will repeat itself and Kang will win again, and again - and eventually endless. The Celestials are the future threat (phase 5 or 6) but Kang is most likely phase 4 final boss and more than likely a continuing threat in phase 5.
He who remains knew everything until they reach the threshold, the mission he send ranslayer on kinda change the timeline to the point where kang no longer knows what would happen

He doesn't know how they will play out but he knows that they will happen. He won the last multiverse knowing certain thing above all his foes. Do you really think he would allow the threshold to be passed if he knew he'd lose? Remember he's the smartest person in the universe. He smarter than Reed Richard's and as cunning as Dr. Doom.

My theory, Dr. Strange sees this multiversal Illuminati and by the end of the movie realizes his universe needs an Illuminati then forming the original one from the comics. Somehow bringing back RDJ's Iron Man, Mr. Fantastic, Namor, Black Bolt, Prof. X, and Strange himself.

When strange says “I did what I had to do to protect our world” I don’t think he was talking about no way home. I think he does something with the darkhold that rips things apart. He is clearly using it early on in the trailer.
It was the easiest way to get all the fans of the X-Men films who still haven't really heard of or know anything about Doctor Strange to see this movie. Or even just Sir Patrick Stewart fans in general.
