Hi Dr V, thank you so much for all your videos!! In your Indian skin care brand collaboration, please include products which are well rounded. Because of the ordinary ALL the skin are brands are following this trend of making a single ingredient product.(We already have enough of those) Because of this we end up purchasing more serums and keep layering them one on top of the other. We don’t know if the last serum which we have applied even penetrates our skin… Also please make body anti pigmentation kit. Thank you :)
Yes please. Make one such video. I can’t find any serum like that here in India. I don’t want to use single ingredient serums because they have high concentrations of actives and my skin does not need that much
Please try to include some products which are available easily in India, whenever you recommend a list of products. It helps us, who are staying in the country 🙂.
I started using ceramides when I was about 23 via Cerave's lightweight lotion. I didn't start using retinol until 27 but I think using ceramides for so long really helped my skin because my skin _never_ gets irritated by actives. Also Cerave's tub version is now available with a pump! The only thing I don't like about the tub version is that it has "hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid" vs "sodium hyaluronate" in the lightweight version.
Thanku for this detailed information... ..recently I too find that ceramide is actually good for dry skin..as it locks the moisture within the skin and keep it moisture throughout the day.
Wow I was searching for ceramide in skincare on your RU-vid channel. I've been using Paula's Choice Omega +Complex Serum. It's been good but I want something with more powerful ingredients. You often advise to look for airless pumps in regards to ingredients like peptides and ceramides. Please do a video about rate of decay/rate of reduced efficacy over time regarding those ingredients for those of us who are not able to get airless packaging. In this case wouldnt it be better to have higher percentages/concentrations (higher than what you recommend) than what you recommend since air can eventually break it down to a lower efficacy? (Meaning for example what you recommend for example 2-5 niacinamide can eventually breakdown to being lower than 2 or even to being completely not useful at all/ not within therapeutic range) Can you also address the concentrations of peptides/ceramides that you recommend? where in the ingredient list should they ideally be at for them to be effective?

I used diluted glycerin. And I was feeling a lil dry, so I used shea butter as an emollient. Noticed my face appeared dull and brown. As if a brown layer formed on my face. Skin was oily like it should be. But I feel like it darkened me a bit.

Dr V, I have these white spots on my legs on few places and I have noticed a tiny few trying to pop up again. I use only moisturizing creams. Someone said it's IGH. What's the cause and what can I use to clear them off?

Please let me know if my layering is correct. Rose water toner Vit c serum HA serum Aloe vera gel Minimalist moisturiser. After an hour.. Thick moisturiser Retin A Thick moisturiser. I used to use wipes but now I don't. I simply do the sandwich retinol thing after a few hours after my morning routine. I don't wash my face before P.. M routine. I am not flaking and my skin is moist. Pls reply Dr. Vanita.

Didi, my doctor prescribed Moyzen (light liquid moisturiser) for dry face, hands & back. It is superrrrrrb. 🙂 This is a NAFE safe product with a very basic/simple composition. Dr Rattan, please do a video on Idebenone. Ive read thats its best or most potent antioxidant. Is it different to q10? Is it good topical or ingested, and products as there are t many products with idebenone.

Hey Doc, I’ve purchased your complete daily range and are doing wonders for my skin. However, I’m so scared to use your cera pep as Shea butter breaks me out. my skin is dehydrated, not oily at all but ACNE PRO. I use cetraben in the winter and cerave when the whether is warmer which my skin is fine with. Will using your cera pep clog the pores seeing it contains Shea butter?
No it won't clog pores .Shea butter has a comodegenic scale of 0/5. Also silicones are like Shea butter,they don't clog pores but they do lock in moisture

The one in the pump is the lotion but I might be wrong but I would appreciate it if Dr Rattan could tell use the difference between the cerave moisturizing cream and the lotion .
