Anti-aging vitamin A oil? I have been looking into purchasing an all over body retinoid lotion for a winter routine (will be covered up from sun). But I think an oil would be even better. @@bilalhusain2011 Hi I would suggest looking at Dr. V and Dr. Alexis videos to figure based on your skin type which products would be best for you. I have oily, hyperpigmentation, aging skin. . I use vitamin C and Alpha Arbutin and a moisturizer and mineral sunscreen in the am. Pm routine. I x a week i have just started using Faded by Topicals for hyperpigmentation. Then 1 x a week i am using Differin (vitamin A). I don't use those products on the same night. The nights I am not using the heavy hitters i use Alpha Arbutin by the (Ordinary) and buffet by the Ordinary. Not the copper peptides one. And a moisturizer of course. My dark spots are getting lighter, and my skin is smoother after just 2 months. October will be 3 months. I am excited to see what it will look like by the end of the year. And be patient. I hope this helps.

Good video but you know airless pumps aren't 100% without air right? Also the problem with dark packaging and pumps is that you don't get to see if the product has oxidized or changed color or destabilized before you apply it.

I have ordered Paula’s choice kit with salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide treatment. Is it ideal to use salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide in the same routine ? Hi!! Thank you for all the knowledge!! My skin's very sensitive, textured and oily. At the moment I'm just using the minimalist toner, moisturiser, face wash and acne uv gel that's it. I'm somebody with hyperpigmentation and nothing seems to work. Could you please suggest something that could at the minimum make my skin's texture better?
Hi Rebecca. I have the same skin type and concerns. One ingredient you can use for hyperpigmentation (and acne) is Azelaic Acid (from The Ordinary). I used every night for a month, now i use 3 to 4 times a week. Is the first time i had long term results for my hyperpigmentation. I also have Niacinamide and Ceramides in my cleanser and moisturiser (from Cerave). Those ingredients are great for sensitive skin and minimize irritation. Niacinamide balances oil production in the skin. Use a Salicylic Acid cleanser (from the Inkey List) once a week to exfoliate the skin, only at night. This improves skin texture. Don't forget to use your SPF50 and reaply thoughout the day. I hope this helps. Good luck.
I have dry, sensitive skin that breaks out easily. I am a white british - black Caribbean mixed race woman with hyperpigmentation from previous breakouts (mainly on the outer & lower parts of my cheeks) with texture problems. I have started to use inkey list PHA toner as a chemical exfoliant at night time. Do I use this before or after my Vichy 89 hyaluronic acid? Dear Dr. V, thank you again for this next library video :) I am looking forward to watch this. I have a question, I would like to ask. After watching a video from Dr. Shereene Idriss about hyaluronic acid I am confused whether this it's an ingredient we should avoid or not. My understanding, after watching her video, is, that hyaluronic acid pulls water out of our skin. It wouldn't make any sense to use it if one has dry skin. That's really confusing as I have always thought of it as a good humectans. I would appreciate your opinion on this one very much. :) Have a nice day!
Hyaluronic is a good humectant but it should be used on damp skin and a moisturizer should be used right on top of it, that way it has enough moisture to work it. Hopefully Dr. V talks about it soon.
@@Dr.Busola Yes, I thought so, too. Topping it off with moisturizer should be fine right? However, Dr. Idriss said that it wouldn't make any sense, because it still pulls out water in the first place. So why using it in the first place? It would be great to hear Dr. V's professional opinion about it :)
I have been using the same treatment for my roseasca for past 6 months using ivermectin cream at night and flagyl oint during day followed by moisturizer, sunblock. Can I add the antioxidant serum to it? My rosacea is under control but I have breakouts periodically and want to add to help
