@@DoctorAmedicine Dr Q treated me for a cavernous malformation that was embedded in my brain stem. It was successfully removed however cranial nerves 6 & 7 were impacted from a pre op bleed. Unfortunately the removal didn’t fix the issue but likely prevented additional damage that would have come from subsequent bleeding if I had done nothing. I still have my issues but I’ve come a long way.

The series is so brilliant sir. The fetal procedures used by Dr. Kypros are just jaw-dropping and astonishing. Also the rest episodes are just amazing ! The Liver transplant by Dr. Ascher, cardiac surgeries by Dr. Devi and the tumor surgery were simply phenomenal to watch. Hats off to the surgeons 🙌 It's good to see that medical sciences have taken us so far.
It makes me extremely hopeful about the future of medicine, and potentially extending our lifespan to 130+ years in the very near future through these advances.
We need awareness about how doctors try hard to save lives, unfortunately indian media paint doctors as villains and money minded citing some stray incidents, but this has huge impact on public opinion on doctors.
I will have to disagree on that. In India, Doctors have high regards and some places consider them as equal to God. Media portraits as only doctors run the hospital and nurses and all other health care workers work in the hospital are like invisible. Unfortunately, because of these attitude, doctors in India are becoming so arrogant and money minded people. It’s great to see some doctors like Dr. Devi, cardiologist in here have humanistic touch and India needs more kind doctors like this. Public and media need to understand that hospitals are run by not just doctors and provide the value which nurses deserve. They work hand in hand with doctors to save lives.
Doctors are getting more than enough regards and credits in India. If people feel that way towards the doctors in India, its because they have lost their humanistic character in them. I have experienced an incident personally about one of my close family member who was hospitalized and in ICU and the son asked to speak with the doctor who was arrogant and I told the staff I have no time for that.. Instead if it was a doctor from abroad Who spent the time with the family members and explain it to them the process. That is the difference between the doctors in India and doctors from abroad. They need to realize doctors are serving people not the other way. That’s what they promised to do when they recite the hypocriteic oath.
I just watched It last night Dr. Kypros, Dr. Q and Dr. Shetty are phenomenal human beings. It's Refreshing to see doctors who are dedicated to patient care and their service to medicine is unmatched! Fascinating documentary definitely a must see.
