Russell T Davies and his success with Series 1 was not the only attempt that was made to revive Doctor Who after its cancellation. Back in 2003, in celebration of the show's 40th anniversary, Cosgrove Hall Films collaborated with the BBC to compose an experimental Flash animation as a way to see if a revival of the colossal TV programme was even possible. Joined by such great talents like Richard E Grant and Paul Cornell, this small yet passionate project made its big step towards taking Doctor Who into the new internet age. And from that, we got Scream of the Shalka. Now you can see its stunning title sequence remade in 4K resolution and with higher-quality 3D animation. Take a step back into a unique era of Doctor Who. An era that was indeed UNBOUND.
