I loved Brian Millers voicing of the black Dalek Supreme in this story it is a shame in billions, of ways he did not get to voice Daleks on Big Finish for Dalek Empire .
Strange how for most of the story his voice sounds slightly muffled, but then there are times like where he's talking to the Doctor where it seems much clearer.
Love, love, LOVE His Dalek voice in this. There's a little bit of an accent going on. I love Nick Briggs but i admit i am quite tired of his Dalek voice. Don't get rid of him, just get him a counter-part. Like Alastor Lock!
I wonder if the black Dalek Supreme from this story, was the same Dalek in Remembrance of the Daleks some fans believe the Dalek Supreme from this story reappeared in the 7th Doctor story with the Daleks.
Its conflicting. Some believe the dalek supreme blew up with the ship. But that white background is very telling on the tardis monitor. I think it escaped in the time corridor and yes ultimately was the black dalek in Remembrance.
Wish we'd seen more of that control room. Looks one of the more interesting sets. Wasn't always made clear where it was on the cruiser, though a lot didn't make sense like where the boarding tube led. And where was the supreme supposed to be at the end? Didn't look like it was on the cruiser anymore.
I simultaneously love & hate the Ball The Supreme uses to observe things. On one hand it's cool and really suits the Daleks, on the other hand it does feel like the Daleks have started studying witchcraft and the Supreme is now *"Looking into my Crystal Ball!!!"*
@@projectblue5778 I was amazed how much they could see with that ball viewer. Like the Prison Bridge, Self Destruct Chamber, Davros's Cryogenic Room, The Airlock. You could understand seeing their own ship and having cameras in there but not on the Prison. Perhaps they hacked into the Prison Security Cameras, but you wouldn't have thought as early as boarding. So yes, maybe it was kinda mystic in nature 😉
The ending with the supreme always annoys me because it’s not implied in the slightest where it is. It’s alluded to the fact it is calling from the battle cruiser, however makes no sense for the background. I hate the theory that this Dalek is the same Dalek in Remembrance as I like to imagine that each supreme Dalek we see is a different one. I’ve always viewed the supreme Dalek as a commander of the Dalek armada and occasionally a supreme Dalek is designated as the supreme commander of the Dalek army when the emperor is stationed on Skaro.
@@TheWhovinerd-1963 from the background it looks like it's speaking from within the Time Corridor room with all that white. It certainly doesn't look like anywhere else of the Battle Cruiser. No I too can't see it as the same one as in Remembrance. I've always thought these supremes just led whichever group they were assigned to. Plus, as Litten relayed to Davros, the Dalek empire split into groups after the Movellan War. Therefore I would assume this supreme was just in charge of one of these groups.
@@IAmPegasus ohh that’s a good point actually. I hadn’t considered the time corridor as a place it was calling from, good shout. Yeah there are definitely multiple supreme Dalek leaders as hinted by the existence of the Supreme council. We know that the development of the Movellan virus 🦠 was definitely a devastating blow to the Dalek empire.
I love doctor who but I can't help think the daleks in the classic episodes were rubbish. The daleks they had since 2005 is one of the greatest things they've ever done.
