To be fair, its kind of the same case with Adelaide Brooke in 'The Waters of Mars.' Even though The Daleks were down with blowing up everything in existence with the Reality Bomb in 'The Stolen Earth/Journey's End,' the Reality Bomb still had to do its thing and the Dalek who spared Adelaide knew that on some instinctual level. What if The Dalek shot her then and the Dalek plan got ruined because it caused a paradox that ruined everything.
The amount of times I’ve heard this scene with a different interpretation says a million things about how good both People’s imaginations and Big Finish’s sound design is. Bravo sir.
@@alexthemtaandr211weatherfa2 (In case you didn't know): tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Dalek_Inquisitor_General Dalek Inquisitor General was a command title held known to be held by at least one Dalek, who was known as Dalek X, during the Second Dalek War. A subordinate enforcer of the Supreme Dalek, Dalek X had a black casing with gold vertical slats and sensor globes. As Dalek Inquisitor General, Dalek X commanded Primary Intelligence Unit and the first of the Exterminator-class flagships. Leading a complement of five hundred Daleks, the Inquisitor General was assisted by ten ranking commanders, two Elite Guard Daleks, and four Assault Daleks. The Inquisitor General was a high-priority target for the Earth Empire; X was his Space Service security designation, which Dalek X adopted. He was ultimately "K.O'd" by Space Major Jon Bowman with the help of the Tenth Doctor, who blew up his flagship. Dalek X survived the disaster but the Supreme Dalek left him for dead because of his failure. (PROSE: Prisoner of the Daleks)
good composition of shots here. It is easy to reduce Daleks to pepper pots if shots are not chosen carefully. Here low camera angles help the Daleks loom menacingly. During the conversation the two Daleks fill the frame emphasising their power. The shot of the time controller from below with a slow pan up and out but still keeping the camera low is very good! Nice animation too, by the way...
I've always looked up to Lee. I was quite young when he was uploading. I always thought they were the coolest videos ever. And they still are. If my videos are even a quarter as good as his, then I think I've more than fulfilled the childhood dream of producing something of the quality and genius shown in those beautiful pieces.
If you go to my channel, you should find it, however if it's bveen made obscure, just look up MLP Potential Behind The Pixel. (be warned though, there are a lot of update videos on there. They're clearly marked and you're weclome to watch, but yeah).
@The Real C'rizz As somone who uses blender myself, I'm trying to do things like the guy I look up to does (Argodaemon) and side note, i'm sure you've seen Lee's newer story, the experiment. Just watched it then. While I don't get into the drama against the modern era of the series, I do wholeheartedly feel yours and Lee's stuff are better than it. In fact, I write stories and they are inspired by the Russel T Davies era for what to do and basically, trying to stay away from the modern stuff as I feel it's mediocre. I'm not saying it's TERRIBLE, just not my cup of tea as the british say. Also, C'Rizz is my fav Audio adventures companion...ok that's a bit of a bold statement since I only have the Audio Dramas from the Davros Collection (Davros, The Juggernaughts, The Davros Mission, Terror Firma and I Davros), but he was great in that in my opinion. Final thing, then I'll stop wasting yours (and any other readers' time) for my 500 Sub special i'll premiere my own first Dalek animation featurinbg designs i've had in mind for about 10 years...though these animations are as old as the ideas so they look...basically worse than the VFX in the Planet of the Daleks redux. They were my very first after all
Don't think you've wasted my time! It's always such a pleasure to read the thoughts of other fans, so thanks for sharing. I'm keeping and eye on your channel!! Excited for the animation!!!! 👀
