Patient Zero: Big Finish's first Dalek Time Controller story 

This is one of the best Dalek audio stories

I wish they'd let Briggs loose in the main show with a character like this. The TC, the Time Strategist, the Prime Strategist, the Overseer - he's got such range with his Dalek characters.

DTC! DTC! DTC! This first impression blew me away and remains one of my favorite Dalek stories. I don’t even need to say how great the DTC is in this, and ALL of the Daleks are at their best and most expressive. Nick has done this story absolute justice. And, because I’m guilty of only listening to Big Finish’s Dalek stories, I had no idea why the Doctor was upset at Charlie or what she isn’t telling him. In a way, it almost made it better, because I was just as in the dark as the Doctor is.

One of my favourite details from this story is that, once the Daleks realise they can’t truly kill the Viyrans, their next strategy is to simply keep firing so quickly that the Viyrans just don’t have any time to fight back once they regenerate. Sure, it seems like a pretty simple strategy but considering that the Daleks only really needed to delay the Viyrans it still shows the adaptability of the Daleks and their efficiency as a fighting force. Also the moment when the Daleks freeze the virus station explosion in time is a really awesome moment that I will always love, as well as the moment when the Doctor realises that blowing up the station was what the Daleks actually needed to happen, and his sudden desperation to reverse what he’d started

Paitent zero is soooooo good

It's been a while since I had the pleasure of hearing it but from what I remember. It was a bloody good story. Well worth a listen if you haven't already done so.

The whole thing with Charley really used to confuse me. 🤷‍♂️

If you don’t mind a little constructive criticism… having images slowly oscillate and drift a little left and right was distracting, and actually caused me some moderate nausea after a while. I do have both a sensitive tummy and the sensory issues that often accompany autism so I’m probably in the minority in being affected to such an extent by that editing effect, but I still felt it worth mentioning. Thanks for all your great videos though 😃

Having recently listened to Patient Zero and reading more into the Time Controller I have the greatest confidence in disagreeing with the 10th Doctor, Sec wasn't the most intelligent Dalek ever the Time Controller is. That is a video I would love to see from you Dalek intelligence and where you would put different Daleks in intelligence there are some incredibly smart Daleks like the Time Controller, Sec, Time Strategist and the Overseer.
