This is my Reaction to the DOCTOR WHO Series 9 Episode "Hell Bent". Wow! So much happend in this Episode. And so many thinks i don't expected. In Theory everybody could now be happy how Clara has left the Show. There is something for everybody. First sadness about her death and now with this episode joy that she is not really gone forever. I know, i know. That works only in theory. Some people are not going to like this ending.
But i'am not one of them! :)

The Time Lords were so terrified of the prophecy of the Hybrid, they created the Hybrid. If they had simply left the Doctor alone, they would never have created every single event required to have him stand over the ruins of Gallifrey.

the prophecy is about standing over the ruins of gallifrey, unraveling the web of time, and "breaking a billion billion hearts to mend it's own", with the latest episode the doctor did stand in the ruins, but they haven't unraveled the web of time or broken all those hearts, closest thing to the second one is River breaking time by changing a fixed point, and that was undone.

@@Information_Seeker The Doctor did unravel the Web of Time by taking Clara away from Gallifrey - that’s what’s happening during his conversation with Me at the end of the universe, because he un-did a fixed point (Clara’s death), he unraveled the Web. The billion billion hearts he breaks are the people throughout the galaxy (the people he saves or could save) that he is letting down by breaking his rules and his promise, but he does those things to bring Clara back and mend his own hearts.

The girl who never dies and the girl who is still dead (more the impossible girl than ever before) in one tardis.... what a Spin-Off.... I realy enjoy this episode. (here in germany we see it still yesterday on FOX) and i enjoy your reaction vids too.

I LOVED this entire episode. Emotions shredded to pieces. And the Doctor being the Most Doctor I've ever seen him in 32 years of watching. In my opinion this is the greatest episode I've ever seen

There's a theory going around that the Tardis Clara and Ashildr stole is THE Tardis, and the same that Tardis Clara offers William Hartnell's Doctor in 'The Name Of The Doctor'.

+celt67 Interesting. But if this would be the case it still would do not Change who stole the Tardis first. It was always the Doctor.Just another incarnation (Capaldi) of him.

I wonder what the Doctor's personality will be like now. He regenerated knowing that Clara would be there to support him, and she helped shape this regernation's personality, without her it's almost like a complete restart for him.

+Aren Hageman-Johnson Good Point! I didn't thought about that. But it's also possible that we don't see any differences in his personality. Why? Because Moffat isn't forced to go in that direction. It's like the explanation why Gallifrey is now back in our Universe. Right, we didn't get one. ;)

He does, but the first person he see's after the Clara incident is his wife, River. It doesn't really explain his new personality when under pressure.

Clara wasn't about to die (script), they were supposed to do a couple and explain what the hybrid was all about, but Jenna backed out of the series suddenly and the script changed quickly

Eine sehr, sehr gute Staffel. :) Ich muss sagen, mir persönlich gefällt sie besser als Staffel 8, wobei diese auch schon sehr gut war. Capaldis Staffeln sind jedenfalls bis jetzt um einiges besser als die seines Vorgöngers.

It took me a while to figure it out, but the prophesy is true, isn't it? The hybrid will conquer Gallifrey and stand in its ruins. That's exactly what happens in the episode, just not the way you assume it will.

I was never a fan of the Capaldi/Clara combination. It just didn't work for me. Once we got Bill and Nardol, Peter became the Doctor he should've been sooner. I haven't watched this episode since I watched the DVD of this season and I know why I haven't.

And this episode tells me exactly whats been wrong with this Dr Who for me!.... Absolute bollocks. The Raven - Cool episode, ok Clara's dead we can get over that... Good way for her to go!... Being wreckless like her Dr we get it... Heaven Sent Bloody brilliant episode... Ranks up there with the best episodes since it came back in my opinion.... Then we get this pile of crap.... Building it up to finding Gallefrey us lot thinking it's going to be something epic... home planet a pissed off Dr... BUT YET AGAIN its all about CLARA... even though she's supposed to be dead.... Give me strength

I get your opinion but I personally loved this episode best finale till now and maybe you didnt like it because of clara but there where also very good bits in so dont hate clara or jenna but hate the writer and dont hate peter capaldi he does just his work

+justKIM073 Dont get me wrong... I think Capaldi has the potential to be the best doctor ever. Especially when you see him in Heaven Sent for example.... And I don't blame him or Jenna.... Your not going to like some characters that's just how it is... I get that..... I'm blaming the writers whole heartedly.... Capaldi has had fuck all to work with... If you look at Tennant and Smith they had some EPIC stories and EPIC moments... The Pandorica speech etc.. the angels.... The Vincent Van Gogh one was one of my fave stand alones.... So either the writing has got sloppy or the show has had cuts money wise... Either way something for me with this doctor is missing!!! That's basically all I'm trying to say!

in my opinion the episode was terrible, yes, but some moments in it are beautiful moments (like the scene that the Doctor is forgetting Clara, is nice scene) but the story is shit, i mean, they basically are saying that be reckless like the doctor is fine, and ITS NOT. i think it was a shit that clara have got her own tardis! and the doctor not being the doctor is just unacceptable.
