Lead writer and Executive Producer, Steven Moffat, and the voice of the Cybermen, Nick Briggs, went back to school today where a Q&A session with them was interrupted by an invasion of Cybermen!
They were visiting Gavinburn Primary School where a group of lucky young students were the first to play Blood of the Cybermen. Afterwards the pupils quizzed them on the new game, but as our video shows, they were interrupted when a couple of Cybermen stormed the assembly hall. Fortunately, nobody was deleted and the delighted children got to see the end of the Q&A.
The session was also shown across the Glow network, meaning children in schools all across Scotland were able to enjoy the event.
We were there and captured the best bits, brought to you in the video above.
The event was to help celebrate the launch of Blood of the Cybermen, released on Saturday, and to promote games-based learning. You can also find out more about today's activities and the uses of games in education on the BBC's Learning Scotland website.
