Maybe these Daleks would be more respected if they had a strong leader. Like Gary Cooper, the strong silent type. Especially emphasizing the Silent part. Another great display of your story telling abilities.
I am looking forward to part 5 as that’s looking at the most complicated and confusing part of dalek history as there are so many different accounts of what happened so I can’t wait

Dame man, Davros’s plot armor is something else when you just line up all his miraculous escapes one after another. Also, since you put in to the darlek earlier in the timeline, how would you explain the time war casing design. This would also apply to the earlyer example of the supreme darlek from out of time.
Yeah, Davros has more plot armour than the Doctor at this point 😂 Also the Time War casing doesn’t really have an explanation… the show just has awful continuity haha, particularly with the new series. The best explanation is that, mostly, the new series producers just don’t bother to change the designs - probably because of budget. So there are just isolated instances of Daleks upgrading their technology - but there wasn’t a need for them to all do it until the Time War. The Out of Time example is just atrocious though. There’s no reason for it other than to fuck with the fanbase 😂 In short: the Dalek designs are just incredibly inconsistent and it’s usually best to just ignore them, though trust me.. I know how offputting it is haha. Hope it clears things up slightly. Honestly, the Dalek timeline is a mess. I’m amazed I’ve gotten this far without crippling under the contradictions.

The timeline of Moffat Dalek stories in the Capaldi era is incredibly messy. It made a lot of sense to put it here, but I’ll address in a future video that it can slot elsewhere.
