I will always remember when The Doctor was Peter Capaldi. He was my Doctor, he was my professor, he was my warrior, he was my hero, and I didn't want him to go.
He was the first Doctor i genuiely wasn't a fan of when he started. I was still gutted about losing Smith, My Doctor, but he's the Doctor I grew to love and by the end I realised how tremendous he was. World Enough and Time / Doctor Falls remains my favourite episode from the revived series.
@@tardiselliottrailers As someone who has been a Doctor Who fan for a very long time it walways hurts to lose your first and the next one is always sad to begin with, or to put it another way... Everything ends (because it should), and it's always sad but that's okay because everything begins again too and it's always happy (Eventually). Be Happy, Doctor Who will take care of everything else.
@@kopitarrules It’s certainly a common pattern, but the only occurrence for me, Tom was my doctor (now joint with Matt) but I didn’t live through him leaving and Eccleston was so quick i was just excited to see modern regeneration. Didn’t help that Capaldi is written to be very unlikeable at the start
@@tardiselliottrailers It's interesting because to me he felt very sympathetic at the start as a man who was kind of put through the blender (in more ways than one) and was trying to find himself when even his close friends didn't recognize that it was still him in there (at least at first). It's almost like the show runners were trying to tell the audience "look we know this is going to be a roller coaster but stick with us on this one because it's still him in there". The character spent a good deal of time trying to find himself again. But when he did, oh boy. Those attack eyebrows were in full effect.
THE best Doctor for me, Peter Capaldi encapsulates EVERYTHING that makes The Doctor the character he is, Peter had a long career far before the show but it was the one who grew up watching and the one that first hypnotised him as a very small child, while his 3 series (seasons) didn’t always have the best scripts or the best of everything they always had one thing in common that was perfect and that was him, I hope he returns in the future as 12 and I can’t wait to see him next in The Suicide Squad (2021)
Great stuff. Not always the best stories during his era but Peter was not only a great Doctor but one of THE great Doctors. I miss him. Wish he was still The Doctor. Makes the latest imposter look like an amateur performance by a school production. Dr Who died when Peter left and I'm not sure it will ever recover. I've been a fan since 1968
It is also the era of what ought to be known as the greatest episode ever: "Heaven Sent". And the pairing of Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman is among the best ever as well.
Cheers mate. I’d certainly like to, but finding the right music has become an increasingly difficult task. Got a few project ideas I have planned first though :)
@@tardiselliottrailers look forward to your upcoming projects mate and I feel the same with picking music for trailers. It can be a difficult process picking something fresh and getting the tone for the trailer you want to do!!! 😊👍
I'm sure I'll so something for Jodie whenever she decides to step down. Paul's a difficult one, I absolutely adore his doctor, I have every audio release he's done but it's hard to reflect that in a visual medium
