Such a beautiful trailer! You never fail in capturing what it's all about in your Doctor Who Trailers. 12/12 :) I really will miss Capaldi. He was my Doctor. He put so much life into the role and was unlike any other actor to play the Timelord. He was every Doctor there ever has been and his own. He was a genius, but also an idiot with a box and a screwdriver. Thank you Capaldi. Thank you for being my Doctor. - The Gallifreyan Whovian
Man, this is a perfect trailer! I mean, it really looks like a trailer, it could easily be shown to someone that's about to start watching Peter Capaldi as the Doctor. It's not emotional, not full of references to the episodes, it's just a well done trailer! Nice! I love emotional Doctor Who videos, really, but I'd never show them to someone that never watched the series.
I started this Doctor's run a bit sceptical of him. Now, I realise how much of a gem Capaldi's Doctor actually was. Series 10 was probably the best of his run with a few exceptions.
This is bananas!......in a great way. I like 10 ( David Tennant ) he was a brilliant Doctor, but when 12 ( Peter Capaldi ) came along, I was blown away. Rarely I said here's a Doctor that can make your pulse quicken like no other, a gravitas that knows NO boundaries or limits, and providing a thrill ride you will never forget. Such is the point here in this magnificent video. And thanks to this video, and all due respect, sorry 10, but 12's my favorite Doctor. We got three months remaining, and my pulse will be quicken..... and saddened by the time Christmas comes along, but we got some time. Great video Gallifrey Forever 97, be still my own quicken....pulses...and ❤. 😊.
Im always amazed at how much the 12th doctor has done and encountered but the 10th doctor encountered just as much as him they both encountered davros whereas the 9th and 11th doctors didnt (at least they didnt encounter them on screen), they both encountered the master (the 9th and 11th doctors didnt, at least not on screen), they both encountered time lords (the 9th doctor didnt). Theyve both had brilliant companions (always loved the 9th doctor and Rose, but I can take and leave Amy, depending on which episode im watching for 11), and they both were in my favourite two series' of doctor who for the new era both series 2 and 9. My two favourite doctors of the new era are the 10th and 12th.
The Capaldi era was dissapointing when you consider what it could've been. With Tennant and Smith I was satisfied when they regenerated because it felt like they'd done all they could with the character. But with Capaldi I was so upset because I felt he had so much left to give. So much potential let down by bad writing. When you see what he can do with a good episode I was begging for him to get a truly great season but he was let down.
Great Trailer, the music reminded me of the Man Of Steel theme, I felt sorry for Peter, a great Doctor, badly let down by a useless head writer and show runner, oh, and bloody Clara. Series 8 was the Clara show, Series 9 was okish and Series 10, was much better, and his farewell was one of the best. I will miss him.
Thank you Richard, funny you should say that as this trailer music is from the Justice League trailer! Series 10 was amazing but was really sad to see Capaldi go, he'll be truly missed!
Thanks, GallifreyForever97, Series 10, was brilliant, more grown up, pob the best writing of Moffat since The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances and my personal fav, The Girl In The Fireplace, mind you, away from Moffat, my all time fav stories are, Human Nature/The Family Of Blood
