I’ve always considered the Shalka Doctor to have been the ninth if the Time War hadn’t happened, when it broke out his timeline unravelled and he disappeared
@@Kregnicis it though how do we know that for certain did the director state or episode writer Paul Cornell I just don’t know if it really is then again 2003 only a handful of eight Doctor big finish stories are out at this time so maybe who knows?
This theme is so good. Of course, the Shalka Doctor never got his series continued after Scream of the Shalka Episode 6 because of the revived series, which is of course a worthy sacrifice but I still wish we got more with Richard E. Grant's version of The Doctor. I don't listen to Big Finish, but if they ever did a Shalka series, I would instantly buy it. No question.
Unfortunately, Nick Briggs hates Shalka, in part because Big Finish was originally supposed to do the audio for it, like they'd done for Shada. Lots of bad blood there.
Started to feel that I and others who had previously attempted this were kind of just splicing on a loose match rather than intuiting what Creation Music would have ACTUALLY done with it had it been included. This was an attempt to correct for that!
Hi! This is so well done. Congratulations on some awesome work! Have you considered doing the same with the "Doctorin' The Tardis" by The Timelords/KLF instrumental theme elements? Making a full extended TV version of that theme, upping the tempo a little, and creating a haunting middle-8 for it would be so cool. Please consider it!! 😀
@@topmandog1Technically we already have! That shot was from a specially arranged photoshoot with Grant last year in Cardiff. At the very least we might see some audiodramas result from it.
