This is my grandfathers 1978 dodge arrow gs automatic transmission. For sale. 10 000 bucks canadian takes it. Its got zero rust. Veey very very low km s on it
I’ve had many Plymouth Arrow’s in my lifetime. I add a big black race car Plymouth Arrow .Conquest powered Arrow I still have. And two parts car fire arrows on my farm . My race vehicle now is a 85 D50 that’s Conquest powered 2.6
1st new car I ever road in was a 1977 Plymouth arrow. Me and my family had so much fun in that car. These are very difficult to find in this condition.
Look again. It doesn't have 21,000 miles, it has 2,100. That car is a sweet rare find! I remember them but I had forgotten about them til this video. I hope it goes to a good home and is well taken care of.
Note that the speedometer is in kilometers not miles. Since odometers back then went only to 99,999 before going back to zero, it more than likely has turned over. Meaning that it has 102,105 kilometers or 63,445 miles, which would still be low for that year. 2105 kilometers is only 1308 miles. I had a 76 Plymouth Arrow, the first year they came out. Had it for 7 years and put over 70,000 miles on it, enjoyed every mile, until someone made a left turn in front of me.
In fact, Mitsubishi cars and trucks sold in Canada were sold as either Dodge or Plymouth well into the 1990s-2000s...Mitsubishi cars and trucks were imported into the United States under their own name starting in 1982!
auaiao9 i only see one ford lol. I tease my mom for trading in her 09 explorer sport trac adrenaline for that yucky ram. My dad also trading in his 2012 ecoboost for a ram. 2 weeks after he wanted his Ford back lol
Odometer reads 2105.6km so the odometer has been rolled at least once so it has at least 102,105.6km on it possibly 202,105.6km. You can tell this buy looking at the worn out break pedal that has steel showing through the cover. Nice arrow nevertheless my first car was a 78 dodge arrow.
I bought this car in "77. It's the only "New Car" I ever bought. It was red with a white interior. White Foleather seats. God, I miss that car. It was quick. Because it didn't weigh anything.
I bought a 76 Plymouth arrow,, It was red, With white interior,,, bought it in 1978,, 1600 engine,, Stick shift in floor,,, Loved that fully synchronized transmission,,, it moved out really good for such a small engine,, like to have another same year,, Had it for 2 years,, Hinges on the hatch rusted off,, Gas tank strap Rusted ,,off, Gas tank fell on the ground on the way to work,, frame bout rusted in 2 on driver's side,, right around 90,000 miles, Rings wore out, Burnt valve S, Yes, Even the intake valves had holes in them,,, But I'd still like to have another 76 Plymouth arrow,,, I think I got a lemon,,
I owned a 1978 red with flat black hood Plymouth Arrow jet, loved that little car. Was my daily driver for 4 years when in the Navy. Pretty good gas milage and mine was automatic trans too. Think I paid like $3,600 new from the Dealership.Where in Canada do you live, I am from Vermont and was wondering the distance from you and if you still had the Arrow, it's a rare fine to find one and one that is in nice shape. Love to hear back from you to figure out if it worth buying. Be Back to the Future for me. JAN 3/2019 Find me on Facebook Robin Dessureau for a reply.
Yup mom still has the arrow. We are just west of sudbury ontario . From the top of i91 were about 11 to 12 hours drive in a transport truck. I do montreal in 8 hours from espanola loaded with steel.
@@endurotruckererniedesjardins Looking into what it takes to import from Canada to USA and what would be required. Do you have a registration for the Arrow in USA must have a title to register. Lots to think about when Selling from Canada To USA. Are tires on car dry rot or still drivable. Have a few more questions like to ask please message me on Facbook, instead of posting here on RU-vid.
@@endurotruckererniedesjardins I had one in this era same thing but manual transmission. A Yellow GS very similar to yours. I am amazed at the condition. This would make me a fine ''Sunday Driving'' wheels
