They just don't drive like morons,if you feather the gas you can drive anything in the snow lol believe me, I live in MA and have had IROC 5.7 with but bald rears from over the summer I went a little hard on her.and the first Storm hit quick and the ass end in them cars have absolutely no traction you might as well not drive it, but if you hardly even touch the gas you'll be fine. Even completely stopped just let brake off cause once u hit the gas you might as well just pin it like this guy did cause you're going to get same results lol

It's a car, they've lived outside for a long time. We actually drive and store them outside pretty often

I run winter tires on my scat in the snow. I'm always running out to save friends who get stuck in their little fwd econoboxes with all seasons. You're 100% right. It's the tires, not the car.

Also the drivers ability...makes a huge difference....

This will be the first Winter we have our Scat and we live in MI. What are some good tires that would help? Luckily I have a Jeep and would never trust myself to drive the Charger but my husband will and the thought is making me a nervous wreck. Also, do sandbags in the trunk help?

@@lisag7861 get any winter tire that have the snowflake symbol from any reputable brand. I got the Firestone Winterforce 2 and have yet to get stuck. Barely ever loose traction. Im usually passing awd SUV's with all seasons in the snow that are struggling.

Tom Fox They are equipped with studded tires that only allow to emergency vehicles only. Civilians caught with them on big fine $1K forfeit the tires too!

That's because rt scatpacks sport mode is traction control off. Allows your tires to spin freely.

if it wasn't snowing I would totally agree but honestly the snow was so think that the brush really didn't make contact with any of the paint.

.. Nothing. If it's minimal snow like that especially on the hood, once you drive it the snow will melt off the hood/blow off. And as a detailer, even I don't reckon using brushed on any painted surface unless it's a really really soft bristle detailing brush for such purpose. Clear coat is actually softer than most people think and it's VERY easy to scratch. You go on a car lot and look at any new car you'll see little scratches in the paint because they didn't clean them correctly while washing the vehicle, And all those scratches are from dirt, etc. Little things you think that wouldn't harm paint.

Yeah it was not ideal but that's not on snow tires and SC generally doesn't get snow storms so theres no salt to melt the ice which is a blessing for rust but leads to less traction, back when I had the scat pack I did drive to work a few times in snow and was okay, I just took it nice and slow

+Dustin Hoverson Hope so those winters are havoc on cars. I moved to sunny Arizona a couple years ago. When I was back home I couldn't use the garage for dumb reasons. So a couple of my vehicles had to sit on the drive way in the winter that was bullshit. My Oldschools I parked in my cousins garage.

The car was great but I've had a lot of others since then , about another 4 cars right now I have a 2018 Tacoma as the daily and a 98 transam as the project car I've been working on, the car was awesome, I'll eventually get either a nice scatpack widebody or a hellcat later down the line

Honestly After i got out of the marine corps i stayed with my parents for a few months until i moved into my new place, luckily it almost never snows in sc so it was just fine
