This is a 1968 dodge charger that hasn't run or been driving on the road in 35 years basically abandoned until we Rescued it. Fuel system: www.holley.com/ Merch: westengw.com/ ADD ME ON Instagram: / westengw Facebook: / westengw
I showed my papaw this video today. He has an old car he put a big block in himself at nearly 70 years old. It was great seeing the smile on his face when I showed him tater. Thank you Westen, truly a hero.

@@user-iz7wr6sw6x that would make you a very special person A story.... Of a planet with BILLIONS OF PEOPLE and only one PERSON likes rusty look and shiny engine parts. He is SO UNIQUE.... :D
@@nugget6644 wow man I’m speechless… There’s just something so fascinating to me about rusty cars with big shiny parts. looking it you see a great history and story behind it and that history has been revived by modern day again….
Yeah it’ll prolly be destroyed before long, witch would be stupid considering how rare these car’s are getting. The dukes shows don’t even use real ones anymore they body swap crown vics some how and put a charger body on them.
Your videos have gotten me out of such a state of depression and just a huge mental lapse. You make me wanna get out and rebuild a monster! I love the vids
kinda silly but they can say that the smoke and noise isnt contained to the private lot or property. If you are in your driveway doing standing burnouts, they can actually tell you to stop if its making too m uich noise or if the smoke is going out intio the road. Im sure this town police dept. all know him and just tell him to knock it off when they get called. I bet they dont even try to ticket him.
The 1968 charger to me is the most iconic muscle car of all time. The car is beautiful with every curve. The hideaway headlights to the rear where you have a good view of the differential. The gas tank cover was even cool.
Love your build videos westen they are really entertaining and interesting to watch and has inspired me to want to be a mechanic/engineer keep up the great work 👍
Fr, Montero was having timing belt noise, thought I would lost her after 370.000km Whatever it was got grinded by the belt, it runs just like new for the last years lol
I love how wreckless he is with all his toys. He has all these toys and they are a mans dream car even but he will burn rubber and gas and run it into the ground. Pure joy for the viewers as well as him. You can see the kid coming out of him everytime he makes a video with a new toy.
@@andyreid7274 its still his money😂 people just donate theirs to him. He gets more money from RU-vid than anything so essentially its like reinvesting when he does crazy stuff like this.
I look at this rusty old man and I can't hold back my tears. I love the muscle cars of those times. I love them for the brutal design, the rumbling of the eight-cylinder engine, the speed. it remains only to look at them, veterans of dusty roads, and greedily lick your lips, dreaming of seeing them in good health and with your own eyes
That look of pure joy on the first start is what every man feels when he finishes project that works the first time and fixes his truck. This man is a national treasure.
That’s how you do it man. You go out have fun and if you break it you fix it, have fun and break it again and repeat. Half the fun is working on your projects. 👍🏻
When he turned it on for the first time after the install is a feeling only one day I wish I could comprehend. I seen the joy in his face and it made me feel like it’s possible. That’s westen and everything you guys do. You guys make car hobby more enjoyable because of the laughs you give
There's nothing that compares to that feeling. And what you may not notice is the long hours, days, sometimes weeks of failures and getting your ass kicked by the car that won't start, or run right. But then.. after you've said fuck it I'm done countless times, lost tempers, stared silently at it for too long, and talked both sweetly and horribly at the car...boom.. it starts and roars to life. It's a knock out in a boxing match, the game winning catch, bottom of the ninth grand slam and first your time all rolled into one. It's the sweetness. Go find out.
Wow I got to say Westen that tater is one hell of a machine you can beat someone in a burnout contest for sure with some minor tuneing no one can stop ya lol
"Should we go out in the country where there's no cops, and do donuts?" This man would fit right in, in Texas XD Love the content dude, keep it coming! This one's gonna be an amazing build, I'm sure.
I loved when he saw the snap on truck and said “I can’t afford snap on I go to harbor freight” the snap on guy looks at the supercharger “I think you can afford snap on”
You work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile, some people are putting just $10K in a meme coin from just a few months ago, and now they are multimillionaires.
How long does it take to learn and make money after you get going? I might like to try it out in the future. Maybe I still kinda hesitate about it because I don't know all the ends and outs, pros and cons.
I'm new to this crypto and forex trading, and I've been making huge losses trading on my own, but recently, i see a lot of people earning from it. can someone please give a new strategy or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong.
It's possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority? However, most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to cost proper diversification.
@@moomaniac2932 OK. I'll try. When assembling any engine, different parts are screwed together with bolts or studs. They have a different torque specifications ( twisting force) and to achieve that you should use a torque wrench. For light applications it might be in inch/lbs and larger parts like crankshaft caps or head bolts it will be in ft/lbs.. Impact wrenches are impossible to set to correct values unless the assembly process takes place in a factory like Mercedes Benz or Porsche where all the bolts are torqued by a computer controlled machine.
@@czarekaj1098 I appreciate you taking the time to try and explain this to me. I don't fully understand but I think I get the gist. Is the joke that you can't set the impact correctly anyway?
@@moomaniac2932 That's pretty much it. Most pneumatic impact guns have 2 settings , high and low impact and left or right turn. Depending on size and manufacturer they can produce between 500-800 ft/lbs on high and about half on low. Most automotive shops use 1'2 inch drive impacts that are rated for about 550-600 ft/lbs. If you would try to use that impact gun on a bolt that have a torque spec of 10-25 ft/lbs, you would snap that bolt before you would even know it.
@@dcskate1022 yeah, doing a blown engine collab with a guy who owns one of the most well made blown engines in the US is a terrible idea, awful content.
The best thing about owning a Honda, you get other people to show the sheer power of their builds. Usually leaving you in the dust, but man, is that some good dust.
That's the most badass, meanest looking and sounding car on the road. You'd think a serial killer would be behind the wheel instead of Westen. Love also the fact the car is named innocently Tater.
Good cops know when to let the goofy kid who isn't hurting anybody off with a warning not to smoke up Main Street again. Feels like his town has plenty of good cops.
I. Love. That wess doesnt drag out a build into 87 episodes. Oh new episode dropped???...contains 4 weeks worth of other youtubers content in one show. Never change wess.
This guy is great there's something about him that really reminds me of the late Dimebag Darrell of Pantera on their home videos. Don't get me wrong great job on the car and awesome car as well.
