Sweet job! You make it look so easy. You've got a great presence when doing these videos. Thanks Steve, The El Camino LS3 motor and trans is in and i'm working on the driveshaft fix for the 6 speed auto trans. After that I will get the fuel hook up and crank it for the first time.

Hey looks like you do great work Buddy, I have a quad cab my mom left me when she passed and little by little I have been fixing the small issues it has. Question, do I need to remove the rear window for quad cab headliner removal? Thank you

Thanks Dean for checking out our videos. You should have to do that. If you quad cab has the center console that goes up to the dash. This can be a challenge. But if not you can just drop the headliner and lower it below the sterring wheel and swing it out the front passenger door. If you have a console then I would suggest removing the passenger side seat then bring it out the passenger side rear door. Hope that helps. Marcus

Hello Zach, Quick fixes is not something that we recommend, mainly because the foam underneath the fabric that is deteriorating keeps any glue from bonding properly. So it has to be removed. Once removed any glue applied will bleed thru the cloth fabric which now has no backing. So the only available remedy would be to staple it or put thumbtacks in it. I saw that as well, the foam will relax as the sun steams it out. When you handle it it may cause those indentions in the liner.

Well done on your project. Question, is there an over the counter glue that can be bought that is the same as yours and how much time does the glue take to cure?

Yes 3M makes a auto headliner spray that you can get at home depot. Just dont get the 3M 77 or 3M 90. Also the glue will set up quickly you have about 30 secs to 1 min to work with it after you spray it in temperature of 70 or above. The colder it is the longer you have to work with it.

How does the glue stay a form of spray able glue and not dry up or clog the gun?

The canisters is air tight so the glue stays well liquid. Marcus

@@Bmanfresh That type siphons. A small hole lets air in. If you're doing this regularly it probably doesn't have time to cure in the can.

I have a 2000 dakota extended cab and the interior looks almost identical to mine in color. My interior trim code is AZ. If I were to order the material from your website, do you recommend same color and how many yards?

Color is Shale / Pewter and this vehicle takes 2 yards for the headliner and a 1/2 yard for Visors. I will have the link in the description for the material and tools needed.

What state you based out off? I got a challenge for you. 😂 I have to redo from scratch my 94' Dodge Dakota and someone have cut a ghetto sunroof in it. This sunroof does not open, it's just glued in place. 😂 I'm still making it all out in my head and trying to figure out how to do it.

We are in Dallas, Texas 75238. 94 Dodge Dakota, So best scenario would be to get you replacement board from the pic-n-pull wrecking yard and just recover it and throw it in. But if you want redo the sunroof. You could get a aftermarket one that is just oversize to that one. And walla - magic. Or third on the list. If you want to reuse what you got. You could email me a few pics and I could better guide you to the sunlight!😎

The sunroof is not cracked just dirty, so I'd like to just button it up the rest of the way instead of gutting it down to bare metal. I will definitely try and go pick up a the board from the pick n pull before sending on the pictures
