It has always been elites vs everyone else. The fact that the world hasn't collectively figured it out yet is baffling. Race, gender, whatever, doesn't matter. All that matters is how much money you have.

As a Christian I often have to explain the context of Communion to people who see it as weird. And to be fair, without context, drinking a cup of grapejuice while talking about spilled blood and broken bodies while eating crackers sounds absolute insane by itself. But it's just a simple recreation of The Last Supper. Jesus asked his disciples to remember him after he was going to be tortured to death, that whenever they all sat down together to eat, to remember his sacrifice. "This bread is my body, broken for you. This cup is blood, my promise to you." So in context it's about a man who knows he's going to his death asking his friends and students to think of him whenever they eat and drink together. But burning the effigy of a child in front of a damn Owl Statue in the middle of the woods while dressing up in robes and chanting in Latin with the most wealthy and powerful people on Earth..? Yeah no dude that's some creepy demonic shit. And they give *no context* whatsoever. They give no explanation for why certain "rituals" are the way they are. They hide the "truths" from outsiders. Classic cult behavior.

The funniest thing about Bohemian Grove was this story by this illustrator who said it was just a bunch of naked politicians peeing in the woods. His artwork of this was absolutely hilarious.

Everything always falls back to money and powers. The 'elites' work hard at keeping us divided and constantly distracted with arguing with each other. There needs to be unity within the working class people of this country and throughout the entire world...class consciousness could go a long way.

Funny thing… on my paternal grandmothers side of the family.. several men were members of the Bohemian Club. There’s a picture somewhere with, I believe, my great grandfather at a table with Reagan or Nixon, not sure which. My grandfather was invited by his in-laws to join and he declined. The club house in San Francisco is also where my dad had his first drink, a gin and tonic. My great grandfather and some generations back were part of the former Bixby Ranch Company. I was an unaware of any of the Bohemian Club stuff until I saw a TikTok and saw a familiar face in a picture. My sister confirmed it, but I need to ask my aunt one of these days.

I see the whole Bohemian Grove thing as a giant fraternity like club. With all of the hijinks and "rituals" that comes with it, which would explain why they don't want to talk about it. As a lot of fraternities don't want to openly discuss their initiation ceremonies.

The whole play/skit/ritual thing with the owl reminds me of the Gotthard Tunnel opening ceremony from a few years ago in Switzerland. I live in sonoma county and drive the road that runs through Monte Rio pretty often as it's one of the main ways to get to the beach from where I am, knew the grove was somewhere in that area but had no idea I had been driving so close to it for years.

Actually, the SL1 reactor explosion in Idaho is arguably the worst nuclear accident in American history, but no one ever talks about it. It was an experimental military reactor. The reactor exploded and killed three military service members. One was actually stapled to the ceiling of the room by flying shrapnel that went through his body, and pinned him into concrete. The only reason I know about it is because my dad was on a nuclear submarine, and the Navy had their primary reactor training facility in Idaho Falls. The ritual changes through time. The one practised on the night AJ filmed would be as recognisably different now as it was to the earliest ritual. Though as you say to most people it's just a weird play you go through to get the benefits of networking with people who in the wider world would be considered opponents. Other closed elite societies dress themselves up as harmless. The Bullington Club for example encourages rich upper class people to burn money infront of homeless people or to smash up restaurants, knowing that their family can pay for the establishment to be compensated and repaired. It's a way to train the elite to be masters of the world and not care for the consequences of their actions on the wider world. The establishment must maintain itself so it invents divisions of nationhood and corporate identity, of left or right. Places like the grove allow them to drop the mask and chat with peers without tribal banners. Burning an effigy or a living child would be emblematic of burning social responsibility for what they plan there. I think they probably would burn a real child if they could. They don't care about the children starving or dying in wars they create. That's the point of the spell. To kill the heart to liberate the wallet.

Bohemian Grove scares me specifically because I watched a few tiktoks on it in 2020 and about the 3rd-4th video i found my phone that was sitting at about 86% power completely shut off. The referring to the owl as a prince seems to be a reference to a great prince of hell named Stolas who is also depicted as an owl. He's said to teach about astronomy and natural sciences which seems fitting in this context. If you haven't, maybe look into the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum by Johann Weyer and other works connected to it

The line "lift up your head oh ye trees, and be ye lift up ye everlasting spires" seems to me to be very similar to a passage from the bible, "Lift up your heads oh ye gates, and be ye lift up ye everlasting doors". The reason I noticed it is because I sing in a Messiah Chorus every year and Handle wrote that passage into the oratorio as a chorus. Whether it's a parody of that passage, I couldn't tell you, but it is eerily verbatim save that you change the subject of the statement to trees instead of gates.

I was therefore delighted when I got almost no footage, _but_ still got almost an hour's worth of the history of the club, and your analysis of the video. Answered a few questions about the club I'd accrued over several years, and now I'm that much more informed. I gotta try to tune in more. This was quite the debut to your content.

I have a two relatives who are CFR members and one was invited to the Grove as a guest, about 15 years ago. He had to sign an NDA and he was true to it. He didn't tell me much about any of the goings on, but he did tell me the names of some of the people that attended and spoke with (and had dinner with)- and from what I was able to glean from simply that, the gathering is essentially a very large networking opportunity of the rich, connected and powerful.

From your reading, it sounds like someone wrote a play where the people defeat Care (or Worry, the cares of the day) by going on vacation in midsummer. Like a symbolic story of getting away from it all. Reminds me also of the iron ring ceremony for engineers.

The owl was depicted as the symbol for wisdom because it had an ability to see in the dark. It was a metaphor because it would illuminate the darkness of the masses and educate the ignorant. The people who believe in these occult practices think that the owl is a perfect representation of their ‘path.’ The owl symbolizes going into the dark in order to find wisdom; as in exploring dangerous realms (like Crowley’s “Abyss”) in order to attain more wisdom.
