I did a bunch of tests for my book and this is a small segment out of those tests. I have heard and seen much discussion on how much energy the rotary converter wastes. There is a lot of conflicting information out there. Here is a visual demonstration of what it costs to run the rotary. When under load no wasted energy, or negligible. Idling is a different story but not as bad as you might think.
