You need to be attracted to the person, it needs to be a balanced combination of personality and physical attraction. Even if the person is not "attractive" to others, as long as you are, that's enough (in terms of physical attraction).

Yep, religion, race are just constraints that segregate humans from humans. I would rather date people of other races or religions or walk of life or ideology than somebody who is just like me. Dating the same race/religion is not just boring but also, you're missing out on so much in life!
Man I wished that there were more people them in the world not binding themselves by religion or nationality they were soo chill and cool and yet their age gap. Omg she could've said you're too young but she kept with the vibe and the connection even if they don't end up staying together it would still have been a very good connection and experience. I think this is the first guy who has been super chill and open and knows how to open up and enjoy the others company. This is also the first girl I've seen who's totally open and has a good sense of humour and is comfortable with being her quirky and weird self. They have good synergy. I would also date the girl. All previous girls have been to uptight or give weird vibes that you just know won't end in a long lasting relationship. This one sounds more promising though.

But at the same time their openness made me feel this was all acting...Unfortunately...Usually people get confused and a little bit shy in front of new people, especially when asked to sing and these two nice guys looked like they're used to cameras, new acquaintances, etc. Made me feel suspicious - too natural to be true. That woman is a unique person with a free spirit and a beautiful soul. Funny, kind and pretty and rlly reminds me of my friends mom. She’s confident which brings out her charms. I’ve been working on myself slowly to become more confident and myself. Less caring of what others think of me. One day I will find myself again. I will finally be free. I realize the more confident you are, the less likely people will be to judge you, and even might someday come to envy you. Haters are just insecure themselves, and then try and project it on others so they don’t feel alone.
Ikr ,I’ll turn 20 this month and most of the people I met tell me I look 15! I had people ask me for ID in clubs or if I order a drink( we can drink once we turn 18 in Europe) and they almost don’t believe me when I show them my ID :D lol

But then over time we can develop a crush on personality. If i think someone is good looking then talk to them and realize they have a trash personality then its a huge NOPE. But if I think someone is good looking then talk to them and realize their personality is attractive as well, I end up crushing. If I don't find someone attractive at first, I can also fall for their personality after getting to know them. Doesn't make me a shallow person.

looks matter only to an extent to me. unless someone is unbearably hideous and has no sense of cleanliness, I'm not pinned down on looks/personality. It's what the person is about. Her values, thinking and attitude is the real deal. A kind heart and intelligent min just turns on everytime!

But (unfortunately there's an "unfortunately"), I still feel uneasy whenever I hear "I don't care" when it comes to things that can strongly relate to someone's values. Positively caring about your partners different cultural or spiritual beliefs or even the aspects of who they are is always a good thing.
Personality always comes first and looks is bonus. I don't want to date a shitty person just because they're "attractive." A great personality can make the least appealing male/female seem attractive.

+pako pako its not about the way the parents look a lot of the time though, it's the way their genetics mix. Seen many times where two conventionally unattractive or average looking people make really attractive kids, and vice versa
Looks are important, but I've experienced multiple times that often good looks aren't even close to enough to convince me to take part in a relationship. Personality does come first. Looks are the bonus. I would never consider dating someone if our personalities didn't mesh no matter how hot they were.

Well he said chicken or dog and I think his mouth stumbled and just started the D from dog instead of C so it ended up dicken instead of chicken but he corrected it before he said the whole thing so yeah he pretty much said "dick...chicken or a dog". Just an unfortunate mouth stumble that I'm sure she gave him a hard time about later. lol They seemed like they would do well together hope they gave it a chance. I think people are making a big deal about it for nothing. If it is actually true, that's *definitely* something most people wouldn't actively try to hide, which is fine because it *is* kind of interesting and rare. Hell, I can't stand the entire family but I'd still think it was interesting to hear about.
