Kellerman's example of water polo vs freestyle swimming is a bad example for this contest. Those are completely different sports with completely different objectives. It's like saying soccer and rugby are the same because they are both played on grass. A better example is this - Take the sport of basketball. There are many skills required- shooting from different ranges, passing, running up the court, defending... Lets' say you have a well rounded player like DeMarcus Cousins who can shoot, handle the ball and protect the rim and a very good defensive player like Tristan Thompson who is very good at rebounding. And let's say for some reason they are in a rebounding competition where the only focus is on who gets more rebounds in a game. Thompson would probably win because he is better at that skill. But if Cousins stopped practising his shot, passing, dribbling... and focused only on rebounding then he would have a fair shot. Boxing is one of many skills that MMA fighters have. McGregor cannot be counted out just because he has to focus on kickboxing, wrestling, jiu jitsu... as well. If he focuses only on this one aspect of fighting, he would have a fair shot. Not saying that he would win but boxing and MMA are not completely different sports and they both have the same objective.

The other thing to remember is it's a LOT easier for an MMA fighter to not use his legs, elbows, chokeholds and fight in a boxing match than it is for a boxer to learn how to do those things and fight in the octagon.

McGregor would be wise to fight by boxing rules at the start.. Then the 3rd round flip the switch and go UFC on his ass.. Tackle Mayweather give em the ground and pound.. It would be head lines for ages to come.. I'm LMAO!

Foreman did set up that punch from the very first round, he hid his straight punches behind ALMOST every single jab, and Foreman jabs from awkward angles, which make his power straights & hooks very difficult to see. - Everytime he poke'd jabs against Moore, there was a bazooka punch RIGHT behind it, and Moore didn't notice there was a setup coming up, cause the main recent the trap worked that well, is because Moore's reaction was the exact same EVERY single time Foreman was fading punches, and a guy with George's boxing experience, will easily spot if his opponents routine are the same without any.adjustments..! Foreman was looking for holes in Moore's defence, and knew from a specific distance, he would end the fight right away!
