Does EA Sports FC 24 Run Well On Switch? NEW Gameplay & First Impressions 

As someone who’s been playing FIFA on switch for nearly six years, this looks absolutely amazing😅

They probably going to update the game on Friday. The game is not out yet officially. Looks really good for switch. Especially in the small oled screen!

I wouldn't really use worse graphics, low quality graphics aren't really that bad. A lot of times High quality graphics aren't fully optimized for the console it's running on. There are some games on the PS5 that the high quality graphics weren't properly optimized for the console because the devs over compensated the PS5's hardware and had to go back and fix it. The PS5 is not a PC so you can't freely optimize it yourself like you can on PC. As for EA, sports games are a mix bag, they have different teams working on different sports games, and for each versions aren't always 100% the same either. And the fact that EA hasn't moved up to 32 bit programming software, you're always going to suffer from high quality sports games. Madden is still suffering as it's still stuck on the Frostbite engine that has been out of date for at least 10 years.

I was shocked when I got the code for the beta but also hyped I'm used to playing FIFA 22 on my laptop so when I started playing I instantly felt the difference in gameplay compared to the Legacy Editions and it was amazing can't wait for Friday, also I'm a Barca Fan and I mostly play Career Mode

I bet this runs fantastic in hand held mode and luckily I have a switch lite.

Oh wow. Just pre-ordered it on my switch yesterday. Definitely even more excited for friday now. Finally switch fifa is nearly on the same level as on other consoles or PC. I don't really mind low graphics, I'm used to it. Just having new features and menus is enough.

Benfica fan here (glad to see Liverpool fans actually liking Darwin Nuñez). I was expecting the 30fps to be honnest, at least they look relatively stable during gameplay (except on Ultimate Team). Nontheless, this looks impressive considering the hardware. For the first time since Fifa 19, I'm actually considering getting this version when I find it on sale, later in the football season.

Finally..... the last time i was this excited for a handheld FIFA was for FIFA 18 on the switch , since i was tired of FIFA legacy BS on the ps vita back at that point.

Got every year version for the Switch. I usually wait until they go down to $20. This actually looks pretty good for the Switch compared to the others. So I just put $54 down. I will support them as long as they keep doing non legacy. I can't wait for this. I have for the Xbox too.

Compared to videos of the PS5 version this looks much slower which I like as the PS5 version is ridiculous fast, especially the speed of the ball at passes. But I fear they will release a day 1 patch which will make this version also faster and more arcade like.

Looks pretty good. I never understood why fifa on switch never was the same as the other platforms since its mostly just menus 😂. And of course the gameplay isn't too intensive since its well.... fifa (I'm still gonna call it fifa)

With the existence of Electronic Arts' Football Club '24, one thing that I know will happen eventually is the following: Backporting, and there is a good reason for this: The PlayStation 03 version of FIFA 'I9 has consistently gotten a Roster Mod with all of the music brought over, though sadly none of those entries' Switch ports' Legacy Edition features; with FC '24 now on our belt, what the community can do is make mods to effectively backport all of the PlayStation 04/Xbox One titles using this entry as a basis; it'll be a pain to port over all the models and vocal commentary from the Upper Versions of FIFA 'I4 to '23, but what we will ultimately get is Ten Years worth of what Gen VIII and IX players of FIFA on the higher end consoles had been getting delivered proper onto a less performant system, many will guarantee that Frostbite Engine III is made optimal use of and it will be a journey to witness how this all turns out as we begin to more closely approach the First Party Swan Song Era of the Switch and subsequently go beyond that into the Lame Duck Session. (:

Finally, we get an updated version of FIFA on the Switch! It’s been a long time coming and the game looks great. For someone who travels a lot for work, having this game on the Switch as opposed to the PS5 is a must. This way I can play during the flight, while I wait at the airport, etc.

They're finally moving on from the Legacy Edition crap they've been doing since 2018.

It’ll get updated on Friday with some of this stuff. Even the console games are having issues. I played a rivals game and some of the equipment from the pregame challenges were on the field 😅

For me, it looks sadder that they have trouble with their faces again. Zinchenko, White, Badiashile and many others... I personally saw it myself (There is a face scanner on the older consoles, but they don't have it on the switch here (Why? they will score again and will not release an update and a scanner of new faces of players who will be added on older consoles. legacy is still working with old bugs that they haven't fixed for years

Chose the nintendo version over ps5 and I'm kinda regreting it. Does anybody have lag even in offlinde modes? The ball seems like a slide show and the game is like a power point. Anybody else has these issues? How did you fix it?

Hey, I am having some serious issues with this game on my switch. Its running like slow motion, input lag is incredibly bad, plus the crowds are just bunch of cardboard pieces. Only when cut scenes play out, 3d crowds can be seen. Is anyone else having these issues?

Legacy edition is comparable with mobile version but is this one the same too? I thought it maybe looks like early version of ps4 fifa.

This actually looks better gameplay wise than the 'PC version I've been playing. The players seem to have more inertia and respect for the laws of physics. I can deal with the graphics on the small Switch screen

I'm mainly a PC gamer but this looks and plays very good on the Switch,. No 3D grass, less detail and 30fps is perfectly fine on a handheld.

How’s the first touch? Fifa 23 on the switch is good but the players seem to not be as “snappy” as console version ps4 & ps5. So does eafc fix that problem?

Well, i think i am the only guy that i don't like the new frostbite version because of the skating, the old engine for me had better physics and that's why i prefered playing fifa in handheld and not on my ps5
