It's not selective love, but it's said that He loves everyone and Jesus came to save everyone (the only thing is some accept that gift and others reject it).
@roro6064 I should also thank you for highlighting that part because it's so normal to cut people off in this generation and it's sad as it leaves no room for redemption (which is what God offers us). This world teaches that it's all about yourself and materialistic things, but Jesus says that we should store up our treasure in heaven rather than on earth where it doesn't matter when we die. God hates the wicked (Psalm 11:5, Psalm 5:5). If Yahweh loved everyone why would Christ say these things: “… he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.”“ John 14:21 LSB ”If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.“ John 15:10 LSB
Christ loves everyone enough to forgive them of their sins and give them chance to Heaven. Christ loves us but doesn’t mean he loves the sin He hates the sin and if we continue to sin against him then we obviously won’t be living a Godly lead life. Jesus showed love to sinners and through his love they changed their lives and left their sinful lives.

@nathanporter3569 Jesus forgave tax collecters and prostitutes. He even forgave his killers and haters. And what about Judas? Jesus loves everyone just because he loves us doesn't exempt us from judgement.
This would contradict John 3:16. Clearly whats going on is called exaggeration and lets just say it isnt. It wouldnt be out of the possibility and power for God to both love and hate the wicked at the same time.
Im sorry, but even as a jew, I wouldn't be friends with someone who wants my best friend dead. My best friend is a person of colour, and none of my friends say the n word, or say he doesnt deserve to exist. Also,.no, you should not be friends with someone who date r*pes. If youre friends with someone, whp drugs someone, and screws them without their permission, thats bad. Im someone whos been r*ped, I'm sorry that i couldnt be friends with her, like cliff would be (as cliff said, he is friends with people who R*PES PEOPLE.) Im sorry i dont want to be around someone who has tried to end my life. And yes, everyone has sinned, but theres a big difference between hurting someone for their race/gender/sexual orientation, and someone looking at p*rn. But if you all want to be friends with people who do unspeakable acts, so be it, if you're going to say god would want you (and the victims of said unspeakable acts) to be friends with said people, who will not change their ways, then i guess im more happy than ever that I'm a jew. And not a Christian. Because we don't let this slide.
