If Ben Shapiro has read the gospels (it doesn't sound like he has), and he's analyzed Jesus' claims to divinity, there are only 3 logical conclusions you can draw. Either Jesus was a liar trying to deceive the Jews into believing he was God. Or he was a lunatic who thought he was God but he really wasn't. Or . . . Jesus was really God. Ben's answer completely disregards the entire New Testament in all of its historical and scientific authenticity.

The fact that the Roman soldiers let Jesus process into Jerusalem on the donkey (prior His arrest, trial, and crucifixion) indicates that they understood that Jesus was not leading an insurrection.
dude its the same with the greek myths. the roman empire adopted the greek myths. where you get jupiter and the others. and jesus is the jewish messiah adopted by the roman empire. jesus christ is a roman god. his church is a roman church.
