For everyone thats asking... Rims are: Ballistic Rage 22x12 -44 . Tires are: Atturo Trail Blade Mt 33"x12.5" Leveling kit is : 3 in Motofab Leveling Kit (FRONT ONLY) Exhaust is : A Unicorn horn welded in place of the muffler (lol jk idk what it is)
The reason the -44 offset isn't sticking out is because you only have it leveled. The lift kit (usually the knuckle/spindle) kick the tires outwards to give you more offset. I like the way it is though! 💪🏼
@@itstwistedxx1350 i want to purchase a front lift kit 3 inch for my 12 Sierra for a set of 20x10 on 33's do you think i would have any problems with rubbing?
What exactly is your set up? Is it a front level kit only? If so, 2” or 3”? And what size rims/tires? Sorry if I’m asking dumb questions. I currently have a 2015 dropped and looking to lift it just like yours. Thanks in advance!
Could you show us how bad the scrub is on the Front and Rear with 1 turn on the steering wheel, 2 turns, 3 turns and FULL CRANK! This is very important because no one and I mean NO ONE seems to want to shows this and it is the most important question and answer for all of us getting ready to buy wheels and tires so we don't make a huge mistake and buy wheels and tires that would be so bad the truck has to be chopped up big time to make them work. Also someone should make a paper or booklet showing all the different size combinations and the issues associated with the chosen sizes and offsets, this would definitely be a most popular book or guide to wheel and tire sizing! One manual for Chevy one for ford and one for dodge ect.... I would buy it for sure but as of right now, I don't know of any such manual.I know this would take a long time to gather this info but well worth keeping at it and building it up even if the manual only included the combinations the DO NOT SCRUB would definitely be worth its weight because we all know the price of wheels and tires and to buy a set up with real bad scrub, scrub so bad ACTUAL BODY WORK is required to make it work is the piece of information we all need so bad!!! Maybe some day someone like Custom Offsets will put a manual together but for now could you show us 1,2,3, turn and full crank???? !!!!! Thanks Dude and your truck looks GREAT by the way! No one even comes close to the looks of a Lifted Chevy with wheels!
It won't turn past 1.5 turns on the wheel lol As you see in the video where it hits you can't force it past that point without tearing something up. I would have to cut it up to turn more.
I took a sledge hammer to mine and beat the frame back a little on the inside where your saying it rubbed, although I dont have a new truck its an 07 so I didnt care
Yep 17 Sierra 1500 on 33x12.5 22x12 with 3 inch leveling kit same rub spot on the back side of the fender but no issue with the front spoiler I just turn slow and wide but for the most part it’s bearable.
Hey man I have the 2017 Sierra with a 3.5 inch leveling kit. Thinking of getting the hostile 22x12s with 33x12.5 Atturo trail blades, how bad is the rub? I really wanna do a setup like yours but worry about rubbing
Myself I’m not a fan of 35s or 33s I like the stretch look 32s or 31s..!! Will it rub with a 3” Moto fab kit up front and 2” rear blocks with 22x12 -44 on 285/45/22 Lionhart Street Tires..?? I gotta 2014 Chevy Silverado crew cab V6 yes it’s a 4.3L no biggie it’s my truck thank you.. I’m willing to run 275/45 if you think the 285/45 will rub..
I’m looking at getting some stock 22x9 black rims for my Silverado, but the tires are 33x12.5x22...will they fit my standard stock truck with no level or lift?
So I’m trying to fit the same size wheels and tires on my 2018 Chevy too with the 3” level kit but the shop is gonna do the work tell me the tires and wheel is not gonna fit at all
those your truck have bad vibration when your going high speed 66-70 I have 22x12 atturo m/t 33 they told me it was my tires but I know my lower control arms are bad
i have a 2017 and we bought it leveled and i have 33s mud tires on stocks and it rubs and i would love to take the lower black plastic piece off on the front bumper but idk..
I have a 2014 Ram 1500 with 4" lift sitting on 35 12.50x20 -44 offset and I can lock the wheel both ways and not scrub one bit (as long as I'm not flexed that is ;) ).
Merry Christmas 🎄 by the way nice truck bro.. So I know you mentioned you’re on 33s in your opinion would you still rub if you run 285/50/22 street tires not all terrain or mud tires just regular street tires something like Lionhart LH Ten tires..
I have the same truck 2017 same color I was thinking about wheels and tires on mine so what size do you recommend for my truck have the same exact truck you have
I have a 2018 that is on getting leveled now. A 2.5 inch level kit. I am planning to just add bigger tires to the stock wheels for now but may do fuel wheels in the future. This looks good but I ran into issues on my jeep wrangler with tires narrower than the wheels and discount not wanting to rotate or balance due to the tires stretched out some.
So I have a 2015 GMC sierra denali. I put a rough country 2" level. I wanna cram 33x12.5x22s on there. Probably will rub a tiny bit? Are yours -44 offset? That's what I'm lookin at.... I just dont want to have to cut the hell out of my truck lol
If you would have run 20sx12 would you still get the rubbing? So mostly is the width that causes the rub? I’m new to the scene I have an identical truck except it’s the 4x4 white 3 inch front 1 inch rear MotoFab level kit.
Can we get some updates? I have literally EXACT same truck. 2018 LT Z71 Crew Cab SB. Heck people are telling me I have to do nor cal mod just to do 20x10 -24 offsets lol. Even in emails from custom offsets. I tell them, "well there is this guy on youtube," But I dont think they believe me. So any update on how this is going for you would be greatly appreciated. I do tow so an MT is out of question. I'm pretty sure I will be getting the Nitto Ridge Grappler but the Toyo RT is 2nd option. I have heard Shawn so on custom offset vids the Arturo trail blade MT is not quite a true 12.50 wide so perhaps this helps your case. Thanks :)
Depends on what tire size you are trying to run as far as if you need to nor-cal or not. Also are you leaving it on stock suspension or leveling it? You can check our gallery on the website to see what other people have done. to make 10 wide -24's fit. And you are correct, the atturos do run a bit narrow so it does help with fitment.
I have a 2014 sierra 4 door, I want to do this same type of setup, issue is, people say that a level kit will kill the CV joints and I would also have to get new shocks, any thoughts?
How well has your truck held up Scott? And did you have to trim or just let them rub? I just bought a 2018 with the same lift and tire size and they're rubbing
Thanks for the video man, fixing to purchase wheels and rims, gotta 2017 GMC. Only complaint, I'm over here like playing your video what seems to be a billion times trying to pause and play it hoping to see the brand and exact size of tires you got on there 😂 I think I see trail blaze MT
@@putowey185 thanks man, I'll probably do those tires for the warmer seasons. I ordered the Amp AT for this winter. Went with Hostile Hammered. Can't wait to get them, waiting on shipping.
@@countryboi5520 I have a 6inch rough country lift, talked to rough country on the phone and they said all I need is $200 worth of replacement parts to turn it into a 7.5inch lift so I think I am going to go that route and they say it shouldn't rub anymore.
I have a lot of videos and I get a lot of comments on them even from 5+ year old videos. I don't constantly stay on here watching comments so some get over looked. Or if the question is answered in the video. I try to answer them.
