This actually has some serious potential. Slap a Remote line CO2 cartridge in there, cut the handle off, and you can basically make any gun you want with a lil crafting for $50

I think this looks awesome for what it is, c’mon.... who doesn’t want a $60, .68 cal, Semi Auto pistol? Just modify a Spring Feed to feed it or use an oldschool stick feed, modify a C/A setup so that it’s velocity doesn’t go down so much from shot to shot, and you’ve got yourself a fun little lightweight setup..... and heck, if you can’t deal with the trigger then just attach a pump arm to the trigger and use it as a Slam fire pump! On that note- that could be a pretty cool route for this if this were reformulated with a pump arm that could either actuate the trigger slamfire style, or just be used to pull the trigger back 2/3rds of the way with an additional trigger to pull the remaining 1/3rd of the trigger back.

This POS gun is a total waste of cash . Hands down of the first shot it loses power distance. Vale verga. Serio save urself a headache and to top it off . Not wasting any more time on this piece of shit . Er3 10 times better . Plus the oring on the valve seal and chamber will fall offf trust me . This gun is good for wiping ur dogs ass if ur into that kind of thing

Trigger pull is long and heavy because it is double action, not true semi auto. I personally think this is playable, with a different hopper.

I recently Just started playing Paintball and I do use the JT ER4 occasionally along with a Tippmann A5, It does have a long trigger pull but as " BLINDMAN Paintball" commented- it's a double action. For the price $60 it's not a bad deal compared to other non pump pistols. Its no Tipx or Tiberius but they are a whole different beast. You can change the velocity but it involves machining a new part for the internals. I have have been tinkering around with it to see what can be done to improve it. Like different barrels, adding a spring loaded tube magazine like used on the RAP4 T68 pistol. This is a great marker as a base to start with for those who like to modify & build their own.

I had recently bought one of these and as soon as I opened it it wouldn’t fire even with the co2 and safety off. It was as if the safety was always on because the trigger wasn’t pulling all the way. If I could get some help with this it’d be much appreciated

Long and probably the hardest trigger pull ever. Guess they couldn't be bothered just making the pump handle bigger on the ER2 and got rid of it all together for something worse lol.

Have you ever reviewed the Tippmann Crosssover XVR? Could you? I know there was a lot of stink over them and I don't think Tippmann is making them any more but if you had the time to do a "does it suck" on it

I ordered two of these recently. I don't play paintball but for what I use them for its perfect. I wouldn't buy it if your looking for a back up in the field, holstering or to much handling will cause paintballs to fall out of the barrel. Comes with masks called "guardian 2" that look pretty cool but I have no use for them. For the price and convince of a lightweight sturdy compact, marker, great deal, no complaints. If your a serious player of any sort, not you gun. I shoo away livestock that comes onto my deck so works great for me

You may find the history of paintball very intriguing. You are in essence reliving the foundation of our beloved sport. I would stronly suggest a CCI Phantom if you want something that would be a substantial improvement.

They’re beautiful guns, but I brought an Empire Traccer I bought for $100, put a on/off ASA below the grip (I hate has through back guns) added a macro line and 90degree elbow where that used to be. Since it’s cocker threaded I put a deadly winds with freak inserts and played all day at a pump only field. With the 200rnd hopper and 50/4500 it was like a machine gun compared to the phantoms, won every gunfight against one. Including 2 against a ranked pump player. A lot of the guys stopped playing to watch the confrontation. It was a blast.

@@zackzittel7683 I'm glad you had a good time with your Trracer and played well. I've got one, or two of those as well and a few of the original PMI Trracers. They shoot fine. I will say however that opinions are just that, opinions. Phantoms are (were) the result of one man's passion, Mike Cassady of CCI, and a irrefutable quality product that was made in the United States of America. I 100% prefer to buy American when and where I can. Everything Empire is mass produced products sold by a faceless major corporation and manufactured in either China or Taiwan. In addition, Autococker threads are more convenient because of the barrel outings but AC threads are inferior to the ACME threads used by CCI. As a whole, I'll stick to my Phantoms and I'm just grateful anyone and everyone is out playing pump.

@@glenj.taylor2938 did he ever offer a solution to the lack of ball detents? The colorized Oring system seems like it could be improved. Every phantom I’ve seen if you cock it……. And then wait 2-3 minutes for whatever reason……. That shot will be half or less the velocity. The guy I talked to said it’s just how they are. Is this true?

@@glenj.taylor2938 btw, sell me an Empire traccer. I sold all my gear 3-4 years ago because I couldn’t stop playing and needed to save money to buy a house. Mission accomplished. But I can’t find a empire trracer anywhere. I can find older PMI’s but I’m stuck on that goofy POS for some reason.

Look up the Splatmaster Rapide. There were plenty of DA Markers Back in the day as Semi-Auto's weren't much of a thing.

Every shot is getting weaker because you're using a 12 gram which cools drastically with every shot lowering the pressure. That's why larger tanks work better for semi auto, larger tanks don't cool as easily.

The pump would get low on gas start blowing out 2 at a time. But still splatting and them died. Ne w cartridge

The hopper has a flat bottom and feeds like garbage. You're better off with an APP 50.

Nah man add a dye rotor and you'll be lighting the field up lmfao, I literally mean the field. Maybe a player will slip and fall on one of your later shots seeing how weak it gets after afew shots.

Can't help with pull however a converter to 90g tank yes gram with adapter gives more shots the lil crossman cartridges so shot loss won't be so bad but unused however JT er2 is ok can be fun but JT ER2S is way more fun you don't kick mags

@@justalpha9138 Just got a new Ruger 9mm carbine today, thing's fuckin sweet. One button takedown, picatinny rails, fluted barrel, and I can quick swap barrels in about 10 second. Considering that it's possible to get a barrel with an integrated suppressor, that could be a lot of fun. Since the whole sight assembly is mounted to the barrel, you can calibrate the sights to different ammo types (subsonic for the integrated suppressor barrel, standard or high velocity for the fluted.)
